Come and join us for a HAT DECORATING PARTY. Put on by “Boss of the Plains”. $50.00 deposit required one week before the event. RSVP, head measurement/hat size and color preference needed. If anyone is interested in volunteering for western heritage day at Hardin-Simmons, they are looking for people to show kids how to rope (like 1st graders). In the past HSU students who don’t know how to rope have helped but they’d love to have “real cowgirls/boys” come to show how it’s done.
It is Thursday April 25th 8 am- noon. Over 2000 kids are already signed up.
Other western things to show the kids are also open for suggestion. The six white horses will have a farrier working on them for one of the stations.

Limited to 20 Entries! Pre-enter text 940-923-8123. This is a great schooling opportunity for you and your horse! After each class the Judge will go over the score card with you and share ways you can improve. Events: Ranch Trail, Ranch Riding, Ranch Reining, Ranch Flag. Classes: Youth 10 U, Green Horse, Beginner, Novice. All day flat fee $50. All proceeds will go towards Western Women of Inspiration women’s ministry. This will be a day filled with fun obstacles, horsemanship and friendships, old and new. Buckles and other prizes awarded.
Signups start at 9am. The event begins at 10am. $50.00 entry fee. Divisions via age and experience.

Come and have fun and practice your trail skills. Amy will make it interesting and add a treasure hunt. Then we’ll test our skills with a horsey partner and play a few games. We will break for lunch. Amy will supply pulled pork sandwiches. Bring a side dish or desert to share. Amy will have water, otherwise please bring what you want to drink. There will be prizes. $10.00 charge per horse trailer. This event is for 40SC members and their immediate family members.
