It’ll be a fun painting party designing our chapter aprons, to use for community events.

We’ll enjoy some delicious homemade soup, bread and cookies

Come out for a meal, some cowgirl talk about horses, events and perhaps an adult beverage of choice.

An Opportunity for the community to buy, sell or trade. Come shop for saddles, bridles, blankets, trailers, boots, show clothes and more!

A bulletin board will be available to advertise your horses for sale, events, and equine services.

Pattern Practice at TA Head Arena in Goldthwaite . Melissa Davis will set up/ tear down different speed patterns and we can ride the patterns how ever long we want but it is a open arena so weather permitting via rain / snow . please call before you haul . this will be a fun and social event no timers or drags but lots of fun. Bring Neg. coggins and bring a friend. great way to knock the dust off the saddle & leg up that horse or just sit and watch – go at your own speed no pressure no rush .

It’s  that time to get out and gondo something fun!

you know… those things you put on your new  years resolution bucket list

70 degree,s is in the forecast,  so let’s grab those saddles and go make some fun memories !!!!

Cost will include lunch with homemade sausage and chicken gumbo, cornbread, and lots of delicious desserts

Clinic limited to 15 participants. Currently they have a waiting list. The instructors are from Rustic Farm.

this event has been cancelled due to the impending weather , a cold front with strong winds

it’ll be a warm and sunny  day to get and enjoy the trails at Lake Proctor

Trail ride is rated easy with some areas that will have small hills , sand and gravel

Join our Marvelous Mavericks riding the trails around the lake at Abilene State Park.
Check in at the office to show proof of negative coggins, and pay the $5/person park entrance fee.
Make a U-turn around the office and go back out to the highway. Go Left for 1 mile. Lake entrance is on the right. We park near the swimming area or in the first boat ramp parking lot.
The trail is a 2 hour ride. Bathrooms are close to parking. Yes, there are areas where you can water your horse.

Our Chapter will be attending the SHTX Kick off Classic Feb 29-March 4th 2024

Show has 10 Divisions , collegiate competition , Ranch Cutting, and AQHA Ranch Riding .

Rockin Wild Ranch and Arena has graciously opened up their gorgeous covered arena , for us to have fun  in their arena with Obstacles.

Bridges, teeter-tots , cowboy curtain, water obstacles, push mobile, tire drag, tire climb, mailbox, 42’ tarp, noodle obstacle, turn style, buddy carry , gates, jump, logs to cross, flag carry , music, and soooooo much more

if your looking for inspiration, encouragement, to share laughs , make incredible memories and meet some amazing 40 Something Cowgirls , then this is the event you’ve been waiting for!

Looking forward to our Annual Spring Retreat @Lazy TK Ranch! Get ready for some world class Western swing music, yodeling lesson & Cowgirl poetry w/Devon Dawson & Teresa Burleson on Friday night!
Plenty of time to rest, relax and/or ride on this lovely ranch.

A certified massage therapist will be available for appointments @ ranch. $35/30 minutes & $75 for one hour if 2 or more. ( This will be at your own expense) .

This is a closed chapter event. Must pay Liesa Kennedy or Babe Chambers $100 by no later than 14 Feb 2024.

Rocking RJ Ranch – Stephenville: Ribbons, Cows and Fun and good food!!

First show is March 16.   There will be a cow practice on Friday starting at 4.   Bring your trainer or just practice following a cow.    Each cow is $20.

We have added a MUSTANG group!    We have continued the walk trot division.

We have reduced the office fee to $15 per family.
All other prices are on flyer below.

Show starts at 9.   You may sign up Friday night or just use this easy jotform.

And show registration will begin on that morning at 7.

There will be 3 judges for each course.

Come join us as we watch our very own  little sister  Callie Jackson , who was an extra in the movie

Outlaw!!!!! Callie plays  a ruff and Tuff Outlaw in a riding gang on her trusty horse named Sadie

Grab some popcorn,  a Dr Pepper and come join us in the beautiful downtown Brownwood lyric theatre

Callie will be taking pictures and autographs after the movie 🍿

Babe will provide several games, tables and non-alcoholic beverages. Feel free to bring a new game if you want to introduce to others. Please bring a snack to share with others.

We will be attending the Good Samaritan annual fundraiser

Help fight  Hunger locally & globally. Dine on a simple meal of soup, bread dessert and water. Take home a hand painted ceramic bowl as a reminder of the fight against food insecurity and hunger in our area and around the world
