FULL PARADE ATTIRE!!!!!!
Please have your 40SC pink blouse, 40SC black jacket, black felt hat or helmet, fuchsia wild rag, blue jeans. Horse needs 40SC black saddle pad, pink polo wraps. Depending on weather you can layer under parade attire. Gloves to be handed out at parade if they are to be used.
Please have your waivered filled out and either back to your Queen or mail them to FWSSR. I have placed the link below for you. They are due by Nov 30th, NO fax or email entries will be excepted. More information as it comes to us will be posted!
- All parade participants must review and sign a Participant Release Form. Release Forms must accompany the organization’s application at time of submission.
- Participants must carefully read and abide by all Parade rules.
- Health Papers: All horses and other equine are required to have proper health papers to participate in the parade or enter staging area. Riders must be in possession of health papers at all times. See ” Official Health Requirements” as provided in the application information for mandatory health requirements on horses and other equine.

Equine Health & Emergency First Aid
Our most comprehensive, and popular, course! Join us for a one day course covering: what your vet needs to know, conditioning a horse to accept treatment, taking vital signs, dealing with lacerations, punctures, colic, choke, collapse, casting, shock, hoof issues, recognizing pain in the horse and pain source identification, injury prevention and so much more! All attendees receive a certificate of completion and first aid manual.

Join us for a one day advanced equine emergency first aid course and learn what to do in the most extreme situations! Covering everything from lacerations to poison, burns to bites, fractures to sucking chest wounds, this course prepares the student to handle the most serious injuries while waiting for the vet. We will also cover horse assessment, conformation, and conditioning for activities. $159.00
If you take this course in combination with “Equine Health & Emergency First Aid” , the discounted package price is $295 for both courses.

Attending the 2024 Red Desert Humane Society’s Pampurr Yourself Purse and Jewelry Auction. Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Holiday Inn Ballroom on Sunset Blvd. Rock Springs WY. Tickets are $50 each. Starts at 4:30 pm.

Come out and watch our very own Rock Springs Grizzlies Hockey team play on their home ice. Game will be on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 7 pm a the Rock Springs Family Rec Center Ice Arena, 3900 Sweetwater Drive, Rock Springs WY 82901. Tickets are $10 each. This is a benefit for Carly and Ben Hautala. Cade pass away on January 21, 2024. We will do a Silent Auction, Dollar Raffles and a food truck. We will begin playing Xtreme Music Bingo starting at 7 PM. Cost of the boards are $10.00 for your 1st and $5.00 for any additional boards per category. Categories will be determined soon. FCSC Annual Tack Swap. We will have indoor vendors on two floors of our clubhouse and outside spaces available. More information to follow. Sign ups should be available at the end of December. Mark your calendars!
The FCSC Annual Tack Swap has been set for Saturday, March 9th. They will be using the same format as last year with both inside and outside spots available to rent. First space is $25 and extra spaces can be added at $15 each. This allows for social distancing and was a big help to the success of last year’s event. We will be riding from Gentry Wimberely’s house to Canyon Road Bar and Grill. This will be a 6-7 mile ride with drink stops if needed. we are planning to unload at Gentrys then convoying trucks and trailers to Canyon Road we will have a cowgirl uber to take the drivers who are also riding back to the horses.
