H. Cooper Black for another Camp and Ride

located at 279 Sporting Dog Trail, Cheraw, SC for a winter ride. The trails are flat, sandy and well marked.

Melissa Davis will set up/ tear down different speed patterns and we can ride the patterns how ever long we want but it is a open arena so weather permitting via rain / snow . please call before you haul . this will be a fun and social event no timers or drags but lots of fun. Bring Neg. coggins and bring a friend. great way to knock the dust off the saddle & leg up that horse or just sit and watch – go at your own speed no pressure no rush .

CWC  will be hosting practice sessions on each Saturday before the show on Sunday. Youth and adult divisions include Ranch Trail, Ranch Riding, Reining, and Working Cow Horse. Competitors can enter one class or all classes in their division and have a chance to win Ranch Horse All Around Awards.

Team Sorting clinic and Practice. $40 per day or $55 for both days. Sunday there is a jackpot in the afternoon for $20.

The Wind River Back Country Horsemen are having their monthly chapter meeting. Come learn about trail clearing projects, the state rendezvous, trail rides, and upcoming events!

TrailHead is easiest found by putting Buck’s Grave Road, Chester, SC in your GPS. You will take Woods Ferry Road to get to Buck’s Grave Rd. This will take you to the gravel road that goes to the trailhead. No restroom nor water at trailhead. 

Located in western Chester County, lies within a beautiful wooded floodplain surrounded by upland pine woods and maturing hardwood forests. Some hills and a few rocky/rooty areas. 

Meet at 10:00, ride out by 10:30.

CSSHA holds Sunday afternoon practices with cattle twice a month at Lander’s LOTRA indoor arena this winter. Take advantage of practicing with cattle and a CowTrac flag for herdwork and cow horse experience from 1:00-4:00 Sunday afternoons on the Sundays listed below. (Sorry, but no roping.) If you are a member of LOTRA and CSSHA, the practice is free. If you are not a member of the LOTRA arena, it’s only $30 per person for all afternoon! (No practice if it’s zero degrees or lower on that day!) Annual LOTRA arena memberships are available at https://lotra.org.

Leatherwood Mountain  Camp and Ride

Premier Equine Facility located in Ferguson , NC is a wonderful destination horseback riding vacation for you and your horses. Over 75 miles of beautiful NC trails to explore that consist of long woodsy paths along beautiful ridges, old logging roads, lots of creek crossings and minimal to long climbs and descents. Duane Poole, the branding man, will be there to place the brands. Branded horses are less likely to be stolen, plus it looks cool!

This is also our monthly meeting. 6pm at the Riverton Country Club. I will announce our chapter awards and there will be raffles and silent auctions. We choose from menu items for dinner and everyone is responsible for paying for their own meals.  Please RSVP to Marillyn by February 18th. You are welcome to bring family and friends!

Kings Mountain State Park   Day Ride Meet at 10:00, ride out by 10:30. $3.00 per horse.

You can put 1277 Park Road, Blacksburg, SC in your GPS, but remember you are going to Apple Road once you reach Park Road. 

This easy to moderately difficult 30+ mile loop trails begins in Kings Mountain State Park and circles into Kings Mountain National Military Park, the site of a famous Revolutionary War battle. The surface is primarily flat with some rocky areas and some clay spots. A local saddle club takes care to watch over the trails and ensure solid footing on some of the ridge climbs. Shoes or boots recommended.

Croft State Park Camp and Ride

This park located in Spartanburg, SC is widely popular and is known around the region for its equestrian facilities. The park regularly hosts shows in its arena and boasts more than 20 miles of equestrian trails. Mostly flat trails, rocky and roots in some areas.

Rockin Wild Ranch and Arena has graciously opened up their gorgeous covered arena , for us to have fun  in their arena with Obstacles.

Bridges, teeter-tots , cowboy curtain, water obstacles, push mobile, tire drag, tire climb, mailbox, 42’ tarp, noodle obstacle, turn style, buddy carry , gates, jump, logs to cross, flag carry , music, and soooooo much more

if your looking for inspiration, encouragement, to share laughs , make incredible memories and meet some amazing 40 Something Cowgirls , then this is the event you’ve been waiting for!

Manchester Spring Trail Ride   Camp and Ride

Located in Pinewood, SC

Reservations are accepted usually one -two months prior to the event. The event is a fundraiser for the Manchester Trail Riders Club. These folks put a lot of work into it and make sure everyone has a great time.

Mostly flat and sandy trails. Awesome trail ride with food, bands and vendors! 

Water/Power at each site. Bathhouse on site. You’ll need to high line or corral your horse. 

Please let Joelle know if you’d like to go and she can give you the number for registration once it opens up.

Come join us as we watch our very own  little sister  Callie Jackson , who was an extra in the movie

Outlaw!!!!! Callie plays  a ruff and Tuff Outlaw in a riding gang on her trusty horse named Sadie

Grab some popcorn,  a Dr Pepper and come join us in the beautiful downtown Brownwood lyric theatre

Callie will be taking pictures and autographs after the movie 🍿

4B Farm and Campground   Camp and Ride

Located adjacent to the Uwharrie National Forest and at the Badin Lake Recreation Area. Miles of trails with minimal inclines. Some areas are rocky and roots. Boots or shoes recommended.
