Equine Health & Emergency First Aid
Our most comprehensive, and popular, course! Join us for a one day course covering: what your vet needs to know, conditioning a horse to accept treatment, taking vital signs, dealing with lacerations, punctures, colic, choke, collapse, casting, shock, hoof issues, recognizing pain in the horse and pain source identification, injury prevention and so much more! All attendees receive a certificate of completion and first aid manual.

We will be riding from Gentry Wimberely’s house to Canyon Road Bar and Grill. This will be a 6-7 mile ride with drink stops if needed. we are planning to unload at Gentrys then convoying trucks and trailers to Canyon Road we will have a cowgirl uber to take the drivers who are also riding back to the horses. This is a invite to all whom would like to join us on this event to ride and hike the trails of Neptunes Shark River Park with Neptunes Cowgirls!
We will be having corned beef and cabbage and potatoes made by our cowgirls!!
Whether a member or not come on out meet us and see some horses!!! We enjoy opening up our passion to our local shore communities!
Don’t forget apples and carrots for our giant furry kids!! Make sure you dress the best in your green!!

Bring as many riders as you please at no fee.
Light refreshments will be provided.
All event fees goes to the Special Permit Use and to help Support 40 Somethings Cowgirls Neptune, NJ Chapter for future events and special donations!
$10 prepaid via venmo/zelle/paypal will hold your horses numbered spot/ non refundable
Whether pending—-we will be watching the weather closely…if its a blow rainy stormy weather event will be cancelled
3-4 days prior to date of event one of our cowgirls will call you to collect the remaining $10 prior to the date of event then your good to go on the guest list…Spaces are limited to 20 horses /day so we do offer a cancellation list and waiting list for our next rides to be offered to those on a first come serve basis. Many really want the chance to ride the shoreline horseback and or just enjoy seeing them even interacting with them.

Oregon Equestrian Trail is putting a prize ride. First ride is at 10a.m last ride out is 1pm, silent auction is at 3pm, bring a lunch food not supplied. Gonna be a lot of fun hope that ya’ll can attend. Competition in best matching pairs, best dressed. Obstacle courses challenge.
