Located in western Chester County, lies within a beautiful wooded floodplain surrounded by upland pine woods and maturing hardwood forests. Some hills and a few rocky/rooty areas.

Cowgirls we’re going to ride Saturday at Fell Hunt Camp, 1369 Cedar Springs Rd, Bradley, SC. You can start either at the Fell camp or from Toni Vonruden’s house 181 Tuck Rd, Bradley SC., at the top of the trail. Camp if you like, primitive. 10$. We will have a chili dinner at Toni”s when we arrive there. If you’re leaving from campground, be ready to ride at 11am. Shoes or boots recommended.
Join our Marvelous Mavericks riding the trails around the lake at Abilene State Park.
Check in at the office to show proof of negative coggins, and pay the $5/person park entrance fee.
Make a U-turn around the office and go back out to the highway. Go Left for 1 mile. Lake entrance is on the right. We park near the swimming area or in the first boat ramp parking lot.
The trail is a 2 hour ride. Bathrooms are close to parking. Yes, there are areas where you can water your horse.

Latta Plantation Day Ride

No fee to ride cost; park at the old equestrian center, there are signs, they close after rains.
No water or restrooms at trailer parking.
Shady trail side is mostly flat terrain and barefoot friendly. Prairie trail has bluestone rocks and mid sized round rocks, so boots or shoes recommended.
Joins us on a lovely trail ride w/Terrie @ Rafter L ranch. She will also have obstacle course available after trail ride.
Ranch Pizzeria is a great place for a late lunch in Coleman too. See you there!

She will go over how different bits work in horses mouth, choosing the best bit for you and your horse, how to balance your saddle to improve your comfort and safety. Abilene State Park is hosting a guided trail ride. Please consider this is not a free range 40 Something Cowgirls guided ride. Please know they plan to ride out at 9:00am so come early. Can’t wait to see y’all there!

Please contact Joelle to RESERVE your spot and time. Certified equine dental team Barbara Brooks and David Kelly will be performing teeth floating and sheath cleaning. Cost is $100 for Teeth/Sheath or if you just need Sheath it’s $30. Please bring CASH or CHECK for payment, as well as some extra cash for our Boot for our two charities! We are keeping this a MEMBERS only event, unless we can’t fill all our time slots. So if you have a friend that needs this service, let Joelle know so we can put them on our reserve list.

Owners Tom and Pat Seay open their home and land for a unique cattle experience. Experienced or novice welcome, you will be guided and mentored by experienced cattle driving and team penning staff.
Lots of history at this old farm, you will want to have this kind of fun without having to go west. The most awesome thing is you bring your own horse.
Power at each site. Community hose for water for your trailer. Stalls for each horse. Small bathhouse on property, but not fancy.
