Kick summer off with an evening of rodeo action. From the classic event of bareback riding, saddle bronc, the fan favorite of bull riding, the pretty gals and fast horses of barrel racing and all the timed events as well.
Gates open at 6pm and rodeo action kicks off at 7pm.
Enjoy rodeo action at the professional level at the Red Desert Roundup PRCA Rodeo.
From the classic events of Saddle Bronc , bareback, the fan favorite of bull riding, and the pretty girls & fast horses of barrel racing. Don’t forget the classic timed events of team roping, steer wrestling, and calf roping.
Pre Show events may vary but they usually have mutton busting, teen cash scramble, and the adult cash scramble.

In celebration of our Chapter’s fantastic year and the Birth of our Lord, we are gathering to celebrate each other and our growing horse friendship. We will have an exciting party at Sweetwater in a designated private area. It may be loud… but so are we!!!

Join in the fun of instructed painting of your own “Gnome”. The $35 ticket includes: 2.5 hours of painting, a 16×20 stretched canvas to take home, your own easel to your on, paint, brushes, and aprons. Also included will help from the art instructor so you can go home loving your new art piece. Don’t forget get some great music. Food and drinks available at your own expense.

Graham TX chapter is participating in the grand entry for the 11:00 am FWSSR rodeo performance. We are allowed 5 trailer spaces for our participants. Official parade gear, negative Coggins and health certificate required. Be ready for the police escort to the arena at 10:00 am.
Join us for lunch after the FWSSR grand entry! Meeting time is approximately 1:00 or as soon as we can get there after the grand entry. All are welcome!

The Caddo National Grasslands WMA is located in Fannin County about 70 miles northeast of Dallas near Bonham. From Dallas take US 75 north for 35 miles to the SH 121 exit going to Bonham, another 35 miles to Bonham, and then about 15-20 miles northeast of Bonham to the WMA. SH 121 connects to US 82 at Bonham. Stay on US 82 18 miles to Honey Grove.

With all the weather at we know these trails are still ridable! Trail Ride on the Trinity River. Park at the trailer parking next to Billy Bob’s. Ride out at 11 AM.

Cowgirls, this is a local opportunity to hear a great “Author, Humorist & Playwright”, Michael Johnson. Michael lives in our own Campbell, TX. I had the opportunity to hear him at a Lazy TK Ranch event in Breckenridge a couple of years ago. Such a fun Cowboy gentlemen with stories to tell. The Farmersville Cruisers will be traveling from East Texas to Galveston together for some shopping, eating, and fueling along the way. Arrival is planned for ??? Trouble is just beginning!!!
Cowgirl Jennie Vayo is setting up an opportunity for you to participate in a Night Ride Obstacle Clinic at Legacy Ranch in Lone Oak. This Clinic will be offered by Hunt County Sheriff’s Posse, under the direction of David and Terry Rogers. It is limited to ten (10) riders, so sign-up quickly. If weather is prohibitive, it will be rescheduled. Come on out… new opportunity, new experience!!
Let’s have fun with the horses on some obstacles. The church is going to have 3 events, 2 practices and the one in April will be a patterned jackpot format. The flyer can be found on Brazos Trails FB page or Poolville Chapter page.
We will be attending a trail ride organized by BTCC at Six O Ranch. Ride out is at 11, usually ride 3ish hours here.

Sunday Afternoon ride at the Grasslands! Changing things up and starting from the Valley View trailhead to see the other side of the Grasslands. Charges for parking in the camping area.

Since we are all trying to save some $$s for one reason or another, Maria and Whispering Oaks Farm & Ranch have offered to Host a barn “Watch Party” for The American Performance Horseman. (The Globe Life tickets with any decent view are high, and their refreshments are as well.) This competition will be aired by Fox Sports 1, so check your local listings.
The greats will be in class competitions, including but not limited to, Casey Deary, Cade McCutcheon, Sarah Dawson, Andrea Fappani, Corey Cushing and Jason Vanlandingham!! There are 5 designated Teams of 3 each competing, so this will take a while. In the meantime, so much fun to be had!! Contact Maria or me for details. Bring your favorite chairs and dress as needed for the barn and weather!!

Playday Series dates include March 2 & 16, April 6 & 27, May 11 & 25, and June 15 & 29. High point Buckles will be given for each age group! **MUST ATTEND 6 OUT OF 8 PLAYDAYS IN THE SERIES TO QUALIFY FOR END OF SERIES AWARDS.**

“Cops & Dobbers” is Sweetwater County’s way of giving back to a fallen officer from the Sheridan Police Department.
Sheridan Police Officer Sgt. Nevada Krinkee was killed in the line of duty on 2/13/24. Sgt. Krinkee leaves behind a loving wife and family.
The Green River Police Department, Rock Springs Police Department, and the Sweetwater County’s Sheriff’s Office are hosting a night of Bingo, silent auction, and raffles. All funds raised will be donated to Sgt. Krinkee family.
The Food Dude will be providing for purchase as well as drinks will be available.

Farmersville will be attending a Progressive Series of Liberty Training presented by East Texas Liberty and hosted by Sherri Gerstenkorn. Each Clinic session is $150. Audit is allowed at $50 per person and will give you a birds-eye perspective of the process! If this is a success and more interest is created, Sherri may offer this Series on a Monthly basis in conjunction with East Texas Liberty. Please feel free to contact Sherri!
It is Bluebonnet time in Texas and this ranch never disappoints! Let’s go take a ride and test our sense of adventure while checking out the beautiful landscape that the bluebonnets always create. Bring a lunch with you and we’ll take a picnic along the way.
The owner typically meets us to check Coggins, get release form signed and collect fees.
“Bust a Nut” is a fundraiser event to benefit 5150 Rescue Farm. Come have drinks, listen to Heidi’s stories, hang out with friends, and look at some great art. Drinks will be served from a converted horse trailer. More details as she posts the latest on the event.
Purpose of the fundraiser: 5150 farm was surrendered a bunch of Guinea pigs that need to be neutered.
Heidi and 5150 Farms rescues animals of all types, like the pig that caused an uproar locally. All animals are cared for and get vet treatments. Some will find their forever home on the farm and others are able to get adopted.
We can also hit up the Cantina for Mexican food and drinks after to keep the laughs going.
