Parade starts at 11:oo am. Plan accordingly. Pink button down, pink scarf, black 40something jacket ,black felt hat black saddle pad, jeans and boots.
Meet from noon to 1:00 for brief business discussion/sack lunch.
1:00-4:oo will be craft time. Blank gourds will be supplied along with availability of some paints and drilling/cutting/sanding tools. Do a little research beforehand and come prepared with a design in mind. Several design books are available to help with ideas.
Monthly roundup. Dinner. Good chat. 50/50 raffle with an additional small prize.
Come out for a meal, some cowgirl talk about horses, events and perhaps an adult beverage of choice.
An Opportunity for the community to buy, sell or trade. Come shop for saddles, bridles, blankets, trailers, boots, show clothes and more!
A bulletin board will be available to advertise your horses for sale, events, and equine services.

Join our Marvelous Mavericks riding the trails around the lake at Abilene State Park.
Check in at the office to show proof of negative coggins, and pay the $5/person park entrance fee.
Make a U-turn around the office and go back out to the highway. Go Left for 1 mile. Lake entrance is on the right. We park near the swimming area or in the first boat ramp parking lot.
The trail is a 2 hour ride. Bathrooms are close to parking. Yes, there are areas where you can water your horse.

Doc’s Bar and Grill has an event venue just to the left of the archway entrance. Mini Doc’s provides a private building, bar and wait staff.

A certified massage therapist will be available for appointments @ ranch. $35/30 minutes & $75 for one hour if 2 or more. ( This will be at your own expense) .

Rocking RJ Ranch – Stephenville: Ribbons, Cows and Fun and good food!!First show is March 16. There will be a cow practice on Friday starting at 4. Bring your trainer or just practice following a cow. Each cow is $20.
We have added a MUSTANG group! We have continued the walk trot division.
We have reduced the office fee to $15 per family.

Large meadow for parking big rigs. Trails are mixed high desert, two-track and cow trails with a few sections of volcanic rock. Gentle roling elevation changes. AERC organized endurance ride (fees are dependent on distance: 25, 55, 75) with a 10 mile introductory trail ride.

If anyone is interested in volunteering for western heritage day at Hardin-Simmons, they are looking for people to show kids how to rope (like 1st graders). In the past HSU students who don’t know how to rope have helped but they’d love to have “real cowgirls/boys” come to show how it’s done.
It is Thursday April 25th 8 am- noon. Over 2000 kids are already signed up.
Other western things to show the kids are also open for suggestion. The six white horses will have a farrier working on them for one of the stations.

After each class the Judge will go over the score card with you and share ways you can improve. Events: Ranch Trail, Ranch Riding, Ranch Reining, Ranch Flag. Classes: Youth 10 U, Green Horse, Beginner, Novice. All day flat fee $50. All proceeds will go towards Western Women of Inspiration women’s ministry.
