Our chapter is helping with Rodeo parking on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1st.
This is a fundraiser for our chapter!
We need a minimum of 6 people each day (on horse or on foot). This is a rain or shine commitment. If you commit to helping, please follow through.
You need to be ready to go by 9 AM each day. The rodeo gates open at noon and the show starts at 1:30 both days.
Each participant will receive a ticket for entry to the rodeo and a ticket for lunch.
Please wear a 40SC shirt if you can. If you don’t have a 40SC shirt, a pink shirt will be fine.
We are also inviting our neighboring chapters to help.
Let’s go have some cowgirl fun and get those cars parked!
Finally, we will ride a complete Ranch Riding pattern to put what we learned into practice.
Cost is $125 for cowgirls; $150 for others. Cash or checks only made payable to Lori Hadley. PM Lori for payment details. Haul in is included.
Must pay in advance. No refunds. Deadline for cowgirls is Sept. 5. Then any available spots will open to non-members.

22222222222222222222222222222222222Let’s gather up at Kathy Richardson’s Rusty Bar Ranch for our October meeting. Bring a dish to share and we will eat, talk, and plan future events. Then, for those of you who want to try out her new obstacle course, we can saddle up and play for only $10 per horse! If you prefer not to bring a horse, that is great too. Just come for food and conversation. I am so excited to see you all and try out some obstacles!
Kathy has an enclosed arena, and fully covered round pen which will have obstacles too. So, we will be dry regardless of the weather.
6 Team Penning Practice dates between November and April. Practice cost is $75 per rider plus an optional $5 jackpot at each practice. Jackpot Run is drawn partners with pot going to the winning team.
Our practices are limited in riders! 63 fresh cattle each practice. If you don’t have a partner, we have one for you! Our goal is to give you the maximum time on cattle without a lot of waiting around. By taking a spot in a practice you agree to pay for your place even if you have to cancel. This is the only way we can continue to offer practices with small groups and great cattle.
9 Team Sorting Practice dates between September and May. Practice cost is $50 per rider and a One-Time $10 awards fee with an optional $5 jackpot at each practice. Starting November 4th, one run at each practice is used for awards points. Awards & Jackpot Run are both draw partners. The top 6 clean cattle/times for each rider are used to determine award winners in each division.
