We will be participating in the Rocket Donkey Productions Barrel Race in Clovis, NM. Come join us or cheer our Cowgirls on.
Let’s meet at Parker Bowie arena in Iva SC and enjoy a winter ride. Bring lunch and drinks. Ride out at 11am.
Bring out the horses and lets kick off this season in a fun way. We host monthly practice events. You can practice traditional clover-leaf barrels, poles, and any play day event you can think of. We enjoy several hours of arena riding and fun.

We will be attending the Connie Combs Barrel Clinic at the Mallet Arena in Levelland Tx. This is an amazing opportunity to learn from one of the industry’s best barrel racers.

Drill team, trick riding, cowboy history, parade of hounds, fox hunting, mounted archery, trail safety, vendors. This expo covers it all. Come out and support the SC horse council. 10am to 4pm.
We will meet at the Kane County visitor Center at 10am.
The Dino 🦕 hike is around 20 to 25 min hike and there is a short yet steep climb to the top. The views are spectacular so be ready to take them in!

Cowgirls we’re going to ride Saturday at Fell Hunt Camp, 1369 Cedar Springs Rd, Bradley, SC. You can start either at the Fell camp or from Toni Vonruden’s house 181 Tuck Rd, Bradley SC., at the top of the trail. Camp if you like, primitive. 10$. We will have a chili dinner at Toni”s when we arrive there. If you’re leaving from campground, be ready to ride at 11am. This one day clinic will be headed up by Martha Peddicord at JandA Stables in Donalds SC. She will go over how different bits work in horses mouth, choosing the best bit for you and your horse, how to balance your saddle to improve your comfort and safety. Let’s ride in beautiful NC. South Mountain Park has it all. you must reserve a horse stall separately in order to stay in equestrian camp. They have bedding, water, electric. showers. Miles of trails. Negative coggins required. Shoes or boots recommended. We’ll be meeting up with other chapter cowgirls too.

Bridger Valley Obstacle Course Challenge

This will be a day filled with fun obstacles, horsemanship and friendships, old and new. Buckles and other prizes awarded.
Signups start at 9am. The event begins at 10am. $50.00 entry fee. Divisions via age and experience.
Let’s get together and camp and ride at AH Stevens in Crawfordville, Georgia. Full hookup sites and horse stalls. Get reservations online. Negative coggins required. 1 800 864-7275 for reservations.
Come and join us for the 2023 awards presentation, pizza, and bowling. Badlands Bowling Alley. We will supply the pizza and soda. Bowling at your expense.
There is an annual membership fee. $10 entry fee, per event.
Classes by age: Novice: Lead-Line, Novice: Walk-Trot (All Ages), Junior (11-13), Youth (14-17), Adult (18-39), Classics (40+).
To qualify for yearend awards, you need to be a member and must compete in a minimum of four (4) monthly events.

Join us for a fundraiser trail ride with our partners BCHSC. We’ll ride from Fell hunt camp to Parsons Mountain recreation area. Lunch will be served by the lake . Saxons food truck will serve lunch. Ride out at 10am. Proceeds are going to restore the hitching rails at the lake.
