1/15/24 Update: Since we had to reschedule the January 13, 2024 FYFS and Browband Workshops to January 27, 2024, Cowgirl Liz has offered to host our January meeting at her house in conjunction with the other events. Our January meeting will be held at 12:30. Immediately following the meeting will be the FYFS workshop and then, browband making.

Due to weather, this event has been rescheduled from 1/13/24 to 1/27/24.
One of our cowgirls is hosting a equitation workshop at 1 PM at her private residence. At 3 PM, the same member will host a browband making workshop. Space available for 6-10 participants. Cost is about $10 for leather, plus any bling you would like to add.

Cowgirls we’re going to ride Saturday at Fell Hunt Camp, 1369 Cedar Springs Rd, Bradley, SC. You can start either at the Fell camp or from Toni Vonruden’s house 181 Tuck Rd, Bradley SC., at the top of the trail. Camp if you like, primitive. 10$. We will have a chili dinner at Toni”s when we arrive there. If you’re leaving from campground, be ready to ride at 11am. Cowgirls we’re joining the Back Country Horsemen for a fun annual meeting, obstacle course, prizes, camping. Sign up for lunch with the BCH. $40.00 if paid by Feb 15. $50 after. Reserve campsite through Croft Park. Contact [email protected]. Negative coggins required.
Rendezvous is a state sponsored event put on by Back Country Horsemen of Washington that is open to the public. This is a non-riding event. We offer educational classes, shopping, social and informative events and seminars. There are no fees for anything other than the Saturday nights catered dinner and the on-site camping. She will go over how different bits work in horses mouth, choosing the best bit for you and your horse, how to balance your saddle to improve your comfort and safety. Let’s ride in beautiful NC. South Mountain Park has it all. you must reserve a horse stall separately in order to stay in equestrian camp. They have bedding, water, electric. showers. Miles of trails. Negative coggins required. Shoes or boots recommended. We’ll be meeting up with other chapter cowgirls too.

Join us for a fundraiser trail ride with our partners BCHSC. We’ll ride from Fell hunt camp to Parsons Mountain recreation area. Lunch will be served by the lake . Saxons food truck will serve lunch. Ride out at 10am. Proceeds are going to restore the hitching rails at the lake.
