The cowgirls are attending the Sandhills Rodeo on January 12, 2024. We will meet for dinner at 6:00. The rodeo starts at 7:30.

The cowgirls are headed North to Lubbock for the Wooly Winter Open Show at Texas Tech Equestrian Center. The shows starts with Halter at 8:00, and will likely last until 5:00 p.m. or later, ending with Ranch classes. Check out the following URL for more information:

It’ll be a fun painting party designing our chapter aprons, to use for community events.

Pattern Practice at TA Head Arena in Goldthwaite . Melissa Davis will set up/ tear down different speed patterns and we can ride the patterns how ever long we want but it is a open arena so weather permitting via rain / snow . please call before you haul . this will be a fun and social event no timers or drags but lots of fun. Bring Neg. coggins and bring a friend. great way to knock the dust off the saddle & leg up that horse or just sit and watch – go at your own speed no pressure no rush .

TrailHead is easiest found by putting Buck’s Grave Road, Chester, SC in your GPS. You will take Woods Ferry Road to get to Buck’s Grave Rd. This will take you to the gravel road that goes to the trailhead. No restroom nor water at trailhead.
Located in western Chester County, lies within a beautiful wooded floodplain surrounded by upland pine woods and maturing hardwood forests. Some hills and a few rocky/rooty areas.

Leatherwood Mountain Camp and Ride
Premier Equine Facility located in Ferguson , NC is a wonderful destination horseback riding vacation for you and your horses. Over 75 miles of beautiful NC trails to explore that consist of long woodsy paths along beautiful ridges, old logging roads, lots of creek crossings and minimal to long climbs and descents. Kings Mountain State Park Day Ride Meet at 10:00, ride out by 10:30. $3.00 per horse.

You can put 1277 Park Road, Blacksburg, SC in your GPS, but remember you are going to Apple Road once you reach Park Road.
This easy to moderately difficult 30+ mile loop trails begins in Kings Mountain State Park and circles into Kings Mountain National Military Park, the site of a famous Revolutionary War battle. The surface is primarily flat with some rocky areas and some clay spots. A local saddle club takes care to watch over the trails and ensure solid footing on some of the ridge climbs. Shoes or boots recommended.

Croft State Park Camp and Ride
This park located in Spartanburg, SC is widely popular and is known around the region for its equestrian facilities. The park regularly hosts shows in its arena and boasts more than 20 miles of equestrian trails. Mostly flat trails, rocky and roots in some areas.

Rockin Wild Ranch and Arena has graciously opened up their gorgeous covered arena , for us to have fun in their arena with Obstacles.
Bridges, teeter-tots , cowboy curtain, water obstacles, push mobile, tire drag, tire climb, mailbox, 42’ tarp, noodle obstacle, turn style, buddy carry , gates, jump, logs to cross, flag carry , music, and soooooo much more
