1/15/24 Update: Since we had to reschedule the January 13, 2024 FYFS and Browband Workshops to January 27, 2024, Cowgirl Liz has offered to host our January meeting at her house in conjunction with the other events. Our January meeting will be held at 12:30. Immediately following the meeting will be the FYFS workshop and then, browband making.
Please email for location and additional information. This meeting will be held at a private residence, and we will not be publicly posting the address.
Due to weather, this event has been rescheduled from 1/13/24 to 1/27/24.
One of our cowgirls is hosting a equitation workshop at 1 PM at her private residence. At 3 PM, the same member will host a browband making workshop. Space available for 6-10 participants. Cost is about $10 for leather, plus any bling you would like to add.

Come out and join in on the celebration at the VA Hospital in Big Spring. The new community center on the VA campus is done and we were invited to attend. All Cowgirls are welcome. Pink button down shirts please… Hats optional as we will be inside.
Come on over to the tattoo shop and get some ink done. We will have several Cowgirls coming in for new tattoos as well as some touch-ups.. All are welcome…
With all the weather at we know these trails are still ridable! Trail Ride on the Trinity River. Park at the trailer parking next to Billy Bob’s. Ride out at 11 AM.

We will be attending a trail ride organized by BTCC at Six O Ranch. Ride out is at 11, usually ride 3ish hours here.

All kinds of information about the nasty death noodles, but also, all kinds of vendors and food… Again, a fun, informative family weekend… All are welcome…If you go, just take a picture of you there and send it to Terri….
Calling all Cowgirls, We are bringing our horses to the VA hospital for some outside therapy for our favorite group of veterans. If you are interested, please only bring a CALM horse… The horses will be groomed, walked out and loved on, no riding. ALL Cowgirls are encouraged to join us, especially if you are not bringing a horse, we need hands on the ground.. Please wear pink button downs, hats optional…We will park in the back west end parking lot…
Rendezvous is a state sponsored event put on by Back Country Horsemen of Washington that is open to the public. This is a non-riding event. We offer educational classes, shopping, social and informative events and seminars. There are no fees for anything other than the Saturday nights catered dinner and the on-site camping. Come out and join in on the fun at the start of this sorting series for 2024… Text entries available the Friday before the event from 8am-6pm… Series runs from from March thru August. Finals in August. Pays 1st-3rd places. 20$ per run. Pick and draws up to 8 runs. Open and novice classes and youth will be available if enough riders. It is Bluebonnet time in Texas and this ranch never disappoints! Let’s go take a ride and test our sense of adventure while checking out the beautiful landscape that the bluebonnets always create. Bring a lunch with you and we’ll take a picnic along the way.
The owner typically meets us to check Coggins, get release form signed and collect fees.

“Bust a Nut” is a fundraiser event to benefit 5150 Rescue Farm. Come have drinks, listen to Heidi’s stories, hang out with friends, and look at some great art. Drinks will be served from a converted horse trailer. More details as she posts the latest on the event.
Purpose of the fundraiser: 5150 farm was surrendered a bunch of Guinea pigs that need to be neutered.
Heidi and 5150 Farms rescues animals of all types, like the pig that caused an uproar locally. All animals are cared for and get vet treatments. Some will find their forever home on the farm and others are able to get adopted.
We can also hit up the Cantina for Mexican food and drinks after to keep the laughs going.
Come out and join us at San Angelo State Park before the heat gets here… Trails for all level of riders. Bring your favorite dish for Saturday night pot luck dinner… All are welcome..
