Come out and join in on the celebration at the VA Hospital in Big Spring. The new community center on the VA campus is done and we were invited to attend. All Cowgirls are welcome. Pink button down shirts please… Hats optional as we will be inside.
Drill team, trick riding, cowboy history, parade of hounds, fox hunting, mounted archery, trail safety, vendors. This expo covers it all. Come out and support the SC horse council. 10am to 4pm.
Want to learn to line dance? Join some cowgirls at the Water’s Cafe Wednesday mornings at 10:30.
Evening classes available too 5:30 pm. with Shay Wood.
Come on over to the tattoo shop and get some ink done. We will have several Cowgirls coming in for new tattoos as well as some touch-ups.. All are welcome…
With all the weather at we know these trails are still ridable! Trail Ride on the Trinity River. Park at the trailer parking next to Billy Bob’s. Ride out at 11 AM.

Cowgirls we’re going to ride Saturday at Fell Hunt Camp, 1369 Cedar Springs Rd, Bradley, SC. You can start either at the Fell camp or from Toni Vonruden’s house 181 Tuck Rd, Bradley SC., at the top of the trail. Camp if you like, primitive. 10$. We will have a chili dinner at Toni”s when we arrive there. If you’re leaving from campground, be ready to ride at 11am. Calling all Cowgirls, We are bringing our horses to the VA hospital for some outside therapy for our favorite group of veterans. If you are interested, please only bring a CALM horse… The horses will be groomed, walked out and loved on, no riding. ALL Cowgirls are encouraged to join us, especially if you are not bringing a horse, we need hands on the ground.. Please wear pink button downs, hats optional…We will park in the back west end parking lot…

Finals in August. Pays 1st-3rd places. 20$ per run. Pick and draws up to 8 runs. Open and novice classes and youth will be available if enough riders. Prizes at the finals: 1st Open-saddle, 2nd Open-buckle, 3rd Open-breast collar. 1st Novice-buckle, 2nd Novice-buckle, 3rd Novice-breast collar.. All are welcome
It is Bluebonnet time in Texas and this ranch never disappoints! Let’s go take a ride and test our sense of adventure while checking out the beautiful landscape that the bluebonnets always create. Bring a lunch with you and we’ll take a picnic along the way.
The owner typically meets us to check Coggins, get release form signed and collect fees.

“Bust a Nut” is a fundraiser event to benefit 5150 Rescue Farm. Come have drinks, listen to Heidi’s stories, hang out with friends, and look at some great art. Drinks will be served from a converted horse trailer. More details as she posts the latest on the event.
Purpose of the fundraiser: 5150 farm was surrendered a bunch of Guinea pigs that need to be neutered.
Heidi and 5150 Farms rescues animals of all types, like the pig that caused an uproar locally. All animals are cared for and get vet treatments. Some will find their forever home on the farm and others are able to get adopted.
We can also hit up the Cantina for Mexican food and drinks after to keep the laughs going.
We’re going to see the eclipse! Best spot in US for viewing. Come camp, ride, and enjoy . There are cabins, rooms, campsites available. primitive camping. Showers, water available. Call campground for reservations.
Come join the Laurens Club memorial for Mr Shull, spring ride. Primitive camping, generators allowed. Steak dinner on Saturday night with entertainment. Sandy road trails mostly. We love our horses but sometimes it is good to just hang out! Time for bowling, fun and laughs with each other. Even if you don’t want to bowl Film Alley offers other things, or just hang out and laugh at(I mean with) us!
We love to ride and this weather is great for a Sunday afternoon ride! The park entry fee is $7. Meet at the Cross Timbers trail head, ride out at 2. The trail is 7ish miles, so typically a 2 hour ride.

Come join us for a meet and greet! Shep’s has a great atmosphere. The weather should be perfect to eat out on the patio. Lots of good options here, the hamburgers definitely do not disappoint! We can always stay after the meal and play some pool!

This one day clinic will be headed up by Martha Peddicord at JandA Stables in Donalds SC. She will go over how different bits work in horses mouth, choosing the best bit for you and your horse, how to balance your saddle to improve your comfort and safety. Let’s ride in beautiful NC. South Mountain Park has it all. you must reserve a horse stall separately in order to stay in equestrian camp. They have bedding, water, electric. showers. Miles of trails. Negative coggins required. Shoes or boots recommended. We’ll be meeting up with other chapter cowgirls too.

This is a trail challenge that will take approximately 2 1/2 hours with 10 to 15 mostly natural obstacles. Entry fee for judging and prizes is $50 each day, $30 to just do the ride. For further info and sign up information see Rockin’ RJ Facebook page
