FULL PARADE ATTIRE!!!!!!
Please have your 40SC pink blouse, 40SC black jacket, black felt hat or helmet, fuchsia wild rag, blue jeans. Horse needs 40SC black saddle pad, pink polo wraps. Depending on weather you can layer under parade attire. Gloves to be handed out at parade if they are to be used.
Please have your waivered filled out and either back to your Queen or mail them to FWSSR. I have placed the link below for you. They are due by Nov 30th, NO fax or email entries will be excepted. More information as it comes to us will be posted!
- All parade participants must review and sign a Participant Release Form. Release Forms must accompany the organization’s application at time of submission.
- Participants must carefully read and abide by all Parade rules.
- Health Papers: All horses and other equine are required to have proper health papers to participate in the parade or enter staging area. Riders must be in possession of health papers at all times. See ” Official Health Requirements” as provided in the application information for mandatory health requirements on horses and other equine.

This ride is presented by the Southwest Washington Regional Appaloosa Club located in Moscow, Idaho. A portion of the proceeds go to the youth program of Chief Joseph Foundation.
Come join this ride. You can paint up your horses with spots/dots, hearts or what ever will make it fun. Decorate away!
The ride is $30 which includes 2 raffle tickets into the general raffle and lunch. Extra tickets are $5 for 2 tickets. $5 of the $30 goes directly to the Evergreen Sportsmen Club for parking.

Come join us and watch how the shootin is done! See the fast paced excitement of mounted shooting hosted by South Sound Mounted Shooters. Vendors and food on site.
We will be riding from Gentry Wimberely’s house to Canyon Road Bar and Grill. This will be a 6-7 mile ride with drink stops if needed. we are planning to unload at Gentrys then convoying trucks and trailers to Canyon Road we will have a cowgirl uber to take the drivers who are also riding back to the horses. Another fun idea! Really hoping for us to all get together and get to know each other so in the spring and summer our rides will be relaxing and we will know a bit about each other. Always awkward to ride with strangers, Right???? Bring a few trinkets from a favorite horse, dog, person etc. to place gently into a keepsake.
Prices are 8X8 is $45 or 11X14 $75
Don’t miss this opportunity to ride with a master horseman and cattleman! He’d probably be happy to teach us to swing a rope if we ask too. Joe rode with the late great Tom Dorrance and my horsemanship changed greatly two years ago when I first rode with Joe.

One of our newest Cowgirls Elaine Gober and her husband Travis our competing in the acoustic showdown, this event is part of care fest. winners of this event will go on to play at the big carefest concert on august 24. Turkey Creek Rodeo Club has Started their Open 4D barrel series. Exhibitons start at 4pm-6pm. Youth Barrels will begin at 6:30 entry fee is 35.00. Open Barrels will begin after youth runs entry fee is 45.00. 75% pay out on 1/2 splits this is a buckle series and you must attend 3 of the 5 to qualify for the buckle

Join Diane Tupper for a fun camp week. Diane has camped here numerous times and loves the serene tranquil area. Lots of horse trails to be ridden. Lots of memories to be made.
This would be a great trip to ride share as the roads can be a bit intimidating for some.

Joel Conner Horsemanship. Phenomenal teacher and student of the horse. Empowers the horse and the horseman.
This year’s clinic will be held Friday through Sunday, August 9-11, 2024.
We will once again have 3 3-hour sessions per class (that’s 9 hours of work per class). The Groundwork class will be from 9am – 12pm each of the 3 days, and the Riding class will be from 1:30pm – 4:30pm each of the 3 days.
Bring your own lunch, plenty of water, and SUNSCREEN! We will likely be working a bit outside, weather permitting.
Each class (Groundwork or Riding) is $450.00 for all three days, or $800.00 total to do both classes.
We require a deposit of $225.00 requested to hold your space PER CLASS, or a $400.00 deposit if you are signing up for both.
There will be a daily fee of $10.00 per horse for stalls OR outdoor pens, and you will be required to provide shavings for your stalls (indoor only) as well as daily cleaning and end-of-clinic stripping of your stall, but as usual I will feed for you 2x/day with your own hay and grain/supplements, if desired. Dry camping will be $20.00 for the weekend (suggested donation) – there is a bathroom on site but no shower, however there IS a 2 bedroom apartment available for rent if a few of you wanted to band together and rent that out (it has a queen and a bunk bed, but Keri said there’s not really a cap on bodies so air mattresses are welcome! https://www.airbnb.com/hosting/listings/editor/48871402/details/custom-link
