FULL PARADE ATTIRE!!!!!!
Please have your 40SC pink blouse, 40SC black jacket, black felt hat or helmet, fuchsia wild rag, blue jeans. Horse needs 40SC black saddle pad, pink polo wraps. Depending on weather you can layer under parade attire. Gloves to be handed out at parade if they are to be used.
Please have your waivered filled out and either back to your Queen or mail them to FWSSR. I have placed the link below for you. They are due by Nov 30th, NO fax or email entries will be excepted. More information as it comes to us will be posted!
- All parade participants must review and sign a Participant Release Form. Release Forms must accompany the organization’s application at time of submission.
- Participants must carefully read and abide by all Parade rules.
- Health Papers: All horses and other equine are required to have proper health papers to participate in the parade or enter staging area. Riders must be in possession of health papers at all times. See ” Official Health Requirements” as provided in the application information for mandatory health requirements on horses and other equine.

Happy 2024 Cowgirls. Our monthly Grub night will be on January 25, 2024 at Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant on Foothill Blvd. We will be discussing upcoming events, year end awards party, holiday party, slush funds, memberships and much more. Bring a friend and if they join, you get a free dinner. Susan won the basket so she will be bringing the raffle basket this month. Hope to see you there.

Attending the 2024 Red Desert Humane Society’s Pampurr Yourself Purse and Jewelry Auction. Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Holiday Inn Ballroom on Sunset Blvd. Rock Springs WY. Tickets are $50 each. Starts at 4:30 pm.

Come out and watch our very own Rock Springs Grizzlies Hockey team play on their home ice. Game will be on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 7 pm a the Rock Springs Family Rec Center Ice Arena, 3900 Sweetwater Drive, Rock Springs WY 82901. Tickets are $10 each. If you go take a selfie and send to Susan to get on the roster.

Attending the annual Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Big Game Banquet on February 10, 2024 at the Events Complex. Starts at 5 pm. Raffles, games, dinner.

Bring a friend, your ideas for events and fundraisers! We will be doing a pot luck (facility is also BYOB) during the meeting. Afterwards there will be axe throwing, archery, corn hole & darts! Please let us know if you are able to make it day of so that we can plan the potluck and let the venue know a head count.
Let’s go bowling. Sunday February 18, 2024 at 1 pm. We might have to wait for an lane, but it doesn’t usually take too long. Cost is $4 per game. Please let me know if you are interested in going so we can get a head count.

Monthly dinner gathering will be at Los Cabos on February 27, 2024 at 6:30 pm. Kari won the basket, so she will bring it to this dinner. We decided to donate a buckle for the Sweetwater Ranch Sort Club, and also for the Wild West Outlaws gymkhana 40 and over age group. Slush fund is $492.00. before the deduction for buckles.

This is a benefit for Carly and Ben Hautala. Cade pass away on January 21, 2024. We will do a Silent Auction, Dollar Raffles and a food truck. We will begin playing Xtreme Music Bingo starting at 7 PM. Cost of the boards are $10.00 for your 1st and $5.00 for any additional boards per category. Categories will be determined soon. We will be riding from Gentry Wimberely’s house to Canyon Road Bar and Grill. This will be a 6-7 mile ride with drink stops if needed. we are planning to unload at Gentrys then convoying trucks and trailers to Canyon Road we will have a cowgirl uber to take the drivers who are also riding back to the horses. This is the 69th year to hold the annual fundraiser in support of our little parish of St. Helen’s. Lots of great raffle prizes and lots of great auction items. Dinner is Corned Beef and Irish Stew. Come on out! Tickets available at the door. See you there.
Join the cowgirls and area law enforcement agencies for a night of bingo, games, raffles and fun, honoring Fallen Officer Nevada Krinkee. This is a fundraiser for this young officer’s family. Bingo cards are $10 each. Event will be on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Doors open at 6 pm. Please see flyer for further details. 
This class is to help educate on what to do in different emergency scenarios. We will be discussing what to do and what not to do. What gear to have for example what to keep in a bag in your vehicle if it breaks down on the side of the road. What to keep in your house if the power goes out. If this sounds like something you want to learn come out to Coal Train Coffee Depot and check it out!

Turkey Creek Rodeo Club has Started their Open 4D barrel series. Exhibitons start at 4pm-6pm. Youth Barrels will begin at 6:30 entry fee is 35.00. Open Barrels will begin after youth runs entry fee is 45.00. 75% pay out on 1/2 splits this is a buckle series and you must attend 3 of the 5 to qualify for the buckle
