FULL PARADE ATTIRE!!!!!!
Please have your 40SC pink blouse, 40SC black jacket, black felt hat or helmet, fuchsia wild rag, blue jeans. Horse needs 40SC black saddle pad, pink polo wraps. Depending on weather you can layer under parade attire. Gloves to be handed out at parade if they are to be used.
Please have your waivered filled out and either back to your Queen or mail them to FWSSR. I have placed the link below for you. They are due by Nov 30th, NO fax or email entries will be excepted. More information as it comes to us will be posted!
- All parade participants must review and sign a Participant Release Form. Release Forms must accompany the organization’s application at time of submission.
- Participants must carefully read and abide by all Parade rules.
- Health Papers: All horses and other equine are required to have proper health papers to participate in the parade or enter staging area. Riders must be in possession of health papers at all times. See ” Official Health Requirements” as provided in the application information for mandatory health requirements on horses and other equine.

1/15/24 Update: Since we had to reschedule the January 13, 2024 FYFS and Browband Workshops to January 27, 2024, Cowgirl Liz has offered to host our January meeting at her house in conjunction with the other events. Our January meeting will be held at 12:30. Immediately following the meeting will be the FYFS workshop and then, browband making.
Please email for location and additional information. This meeting will be held at a private residence, and we will not be publicly posting the address.
Due to weather, this event has been rescheduled from 1/13/24 to 1/27/24.
One of our cowgirls is hosting a equitation workshop at 1 PM at her private residence. At 3 PM, the same member will host a browband making workshop. Space available for 6-10 participants. Cost is about $10 for leather, plus any bling you would like to add.

Individual Sessions with Rebecca Algar – Feb. 12
Kimberlee Barker is a Masters Level Working Equitation and USDF Grand Prix Dressage rider, trainer, and competitor. Kimberlee is a recognized Working Equitation Coach in USAWE’s Coaches Network, has earned her USAWE Pewter, Bronze, Silver, and Platinum Medals. Kimberlee is currently only the third person in the U.S. to have earned a Platinum Medal and the first to earn it with the new stricter requirements through USAWE. A graduate with distinction of the USDF “L” Judge Education Program, Kimberlee has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals and has nearly completed her Gold.
Thursday WE Clinic Small Group Obstacle Session (4 or fewer people) 90-minute session on Thursday, followed by open schooling on obstacles once clinic is over (approximately 5 pm) – $150/person
Friday WE Clinic Private Dressage Lesson 30-minute private session on Friday – $75/person
BOTH Small Group Obstacles on Thursday & Private Dressage Lesson on Friday – $200
Stabling for Clinic (from Wednesday at 2 pm – Friday at 1 pm, when we transition to show stabling) – $75 includes 1 bag of shavings

We will be helping a cattle rancher move cattle at Mildred Kanipe. Please be ready to ride by 10 AM ..bring a snack and drink.
Come help gather the cows at Mildred Kanipe Park. Sam Campbell will be there to help organize the gather. Boots in the stirrup at 10am, so arrive early to tack up and warm up your horse if needed. A trail ride after for those that would like to participate.

Show clothes not required, neat turnout encouraged, boots or shoes with a heel required, no tennis shoes
Mechanical hackamores/gag bits are permitted in gaming classes only
Training aids ( Running/German martingales) are allowed
Show management has the authority to combine or cancel classes
Walk trot classes will count towards highpoint

In consideration of my entry for this event, I hereby release the Douglas County Mounted Posse, DC Fairgrounds, and any person helping with this event from liability claims that may arise from or during my participation in this event. We will be riding from Gentry Wimberely’s house to Canyon Road Bar and Grill. This will be a 6-7 mile ride with drink stops if needed. we are planning to unload at Gentrys then convoying trucks and trailers to Canyon Road we will have a cowgirl uber to take the drivers who are also riding back to the horses. Rendezvous is a state sponsored event put on by Back Country Horsemen of Washington that is open to the public. This is a non-riding event. We offer educational classes, shopping, social and informative events and seminars. There are no fees for anything other than the Saturday nights catered dinner and the on-site camping. This is a invite to all whom would like to join us on this event to ride and hike the trails of Neptunes Shark River Park with Neptunes Cowgirls!
We will be having corned beef and cabbage and potatoes made by our cowgirls!!
