FULL PARADE ATTIRE!!!!!!

Please have your 40SC pink blouse, 40SC black jacket, black felt hat or helmet, fuchsia wild rag,  blue jeans. Horse needs 40SC black saddle pad, pink polo wraps. Depending on weather you can layer under parade attire. Gloves to be handed out at parade if they are to be used.

Please have your waivered filled out and either back to your Queen or mail them to FWSSR. I have placed the link below for you. They are due by Nov 30th, NO fax or email entries will be excepted. More information as it comes to us will be posted!

• All parade participants must review and sign a Participant Release Form. Release Forms must accompany the organization’s application at time of submission.
• Participants must carefully read and abide by all Parade rules.
• Health Papers: All horses and other equine are required to have proper health papers to participate in the parade or enter staging area. Riders must be in possession of health papers at all times. See ” Official Health Requirements” as provided in the application information for mandatory health requirements on horses and other equine.

It’ll be a fun painting party designing our chapter aprons, to use for community events.

Pattern Practice at TA Head Arena in Goldthwaite . Melissa Davis will set up/ tear down different speed patterns and we can ride the patterns how ever long we want but it is a open arena so weather permitting via rain / snow . please call before you haul . this will be a fun and social event no timers or drags but lots of fun. Bring Neg. coggins and bring a friend. great way to knock the dust off the saddle & leg up that horse or just sit and watch – go at your own speed no pressure no rush .

1/15/24 Update: Since we had to reschedule the January 13, 2024 FYFS and Browband Workshops to January 27, 2024, Cowgirl Liz has offered to host our January meeting at her house in conjunction with the other events. Our January meeting will be held at 12:30. Immediately following the meeting will be the FYFS workshop and then, browband making.

Please email for location and additional information. This meeting will be held at a private residence, and we will not be publicly posting the address.

Due to weather, this event has been rescheduled from 1/13/24 to 1/27/24.

One of our cowgirls is hosting a equitation workshop at 1 PM at her private residence. At 3 PM, the same member will host a browband making workshop. Space available for 6-10 participants. Cost is about $10 for leather, plus any bling you would like to add.

It’s  that time to get out and gondo something fun!

this event has been cancelled due to the impending weather , a cold front with strong winds

it’ll be a warm and sunny  day to get and enjoy the trails at Lake Proctor

Trail ride is rated easy with some areas that will have small hills , sand and gravel

Bring a friend, your ideas for events and fundraisers! We will be doing a pot luck (facility is also BYOB) during the meeting. Afterwards there will be axe throwing, archery, corn hole & darts! Please let us know if you are able to make it day of so that we can plan the potluck and let the venue know a head count.

Show has 10 Divisions , collegiate competition , Ranch Cutting, and AQHA Ranch Riding .

will be  setting up for the Rockin Wild Ranch Obstacle Course Playday event

over 25 obstacle courses

free event for 40 Something Cowgirl members

Current coggins is required , please bring your coggins paperwork

bring your horses to ride after we set up all of the obstacles , it’ll be fun

We will be riding from Gentry Wimberely’s house to Canyon Road Bar and Grill. This will be a 6-7 mile ride with drink stops if needed. we are planning to unload at Gentrys then convoying trucks and trailers to Canyon Road we will have a cowgirl uber to take the drivers who are also riding back to the horses. Rockin Wild Ranch and Arena has graciously opened up their gorgeous covered arena , for us to have fun  in their arena with Obstacles.

Bridges, teeter-tots , cowboy curtain, water obstacles, push mobile, tire drag, tire climb, mailbox, 42’ tarp, noodle obstacle, turn style, buddy carry , gates, jump, logs to cross, flag carry , music, and soooooo much more

if your looking for inspiration, encouragement, to share laughs , make incredible memories and meet some amazing 40 Something Cowgirls , then this is the event you’ve been waiting for!

Come join us as we watch our very own  little sister  Callie Jackson , who was an extra in the movie

Outlaw!!!!! Callie plays  a ruff and Tuff Outlaw in a riding gang on her trusty horse named Sadie

Grab some popcorn,  a Dr Pepper and come join us in the beautiful downtown Brownwood lyric theatre

Callie will be taking pictures and autographs after the movie 🍿

ride last about an hour and a half and is rated easy with some rocks and sand

Afterwards  we’ll head over to Miguel’s Mexican Restaurant in Comanche , just a few minutes away …. Lunch is Dutch
