FULL PARADE ATTIRE!!!!!!

Please have your 40SC pink blouse, 40SC black jacket, black felt hat or helmet, fuchsia wild rag,  blue jeans. Horse needs 40SC black saddle pad, pink polo wraps. Depending on weather you can layer under parade attire. Gloves to be handed out at parade if they are to be used.

Please have your waivered filled out and either back to your Queen or mail them to FWSSR. I have placed the link below for you. They are due by Nov 30th, NO fax or email entries will be excepted. More information as it comes to us will be posted!

• All parade participants must review and sign a Participant Release Form. Release Forms must accompany the organization’s application at time of submission.
• Participants must carefully read and abide by all Parade rules.
• Health Papers: All horses and other equine are required to have proper health papers to participate in the parade or enter staging area. Riders must be in possession of health papers at all times. See ” Official Health Requirements” as provided in the application information for mandatory health requirements on horses and other equine.

1/15/24 Update: Since we had to reschedule the January 13, 2024 FYFS and Browband Workshops to January 27, 2024, Cowgirl Liz has offered to host our January meeting at her house in conjunction with the other events. Our January meeting will be held at 12:30. Immediately following the meeting will be the FYFS workshop and then, browband making.

Please email for location and additional information. This meeting will be held at a private residence, and we will not be publicly posting the address.

Due to weather, this event has been rescheduled from 1/13/24 to 1/27/24.

One of our cowgirls is hosting a equitation workshop at 1 PM at her private residence. At 3 PM, the same member will host a browband making workshop. Space available for 6-10 participants. Cost is about $10 for leather, plus any bling you would like to add.

Bring a friend, your ideas for events and fundraisers! We will be doing a pot luck (facility is also BYOB) during the meeting. Afterwards there will be axe throwing, archery, corn hole & darts! We will be riding from Gentry Wimberely’s house to Canyon Road Bar and Grill. This will be a 6-7 mile ride with drink stops if needed. we are planning to unload at Gentrys then convoying trucks and trailers to Canyon Road we will have a cowgirl uber to take the drivers who are also riding back to the horses. One of our newest Cowgirls Elaine Gober and her husband Travis our competing in the acoustic showdown, this event is part of care fest. winners of this event will go on to play at the big carefest concert on august 24. Trinity Trail Events founder Maral Eckenrod will conduct an instructional clinic on how to navigate the mountain trail obstacles at Flying M Stables, which were built by Mark Bolender of Bolender Horse Park.  If you trail ride or have thought of competing at a Novice, Intermediate, or Advanced Level of Equine Trail Sports events (ETS) or other obstacle challenges such as IMTCA events (International Mountain Trail Challenge Association), here is where you can start!  Maral will lead us through how to acclimate your horse to the obstacle, navigate it properly, and what judges are looking for.

Trinity Trail Events also conducts virtual challenges using just a few items (ground poles, tarp, cones, flag, spray bottle) that you may have at home.  You will receive the pattern and have a window of time to practice and video you and your horse navigating the obstacles, submit your video to Maral, who will judge it, provide comments if you want, and award prizes, including buckles. TTE has Novice, Intermediate, Advanced and Easy Peasy patterns to get you started in this field!

Depending on sign-ups for the clinic, the plan is for 2 hours of In-Hand instruction and practice and 2 hours of mounted instruction and practice.  If more than 12 horse/rider pairs sign-up, then it may be changed to 2 groups, with 1 hour each of In-Hand and Mounted work.

Cost: $60 per horse/rider pair, includes haul-in fee of $35 ;  $5 per auditor

Pay via Venmo to @Wendy-Morrow-79  and Chapter will pay the haul-in fee to Flying M Stables.

Turkey Creek Rodeo Club has Started their Open 4D barrel series. Exhibitons start at 4pm-6pm. Youth Barrels will begin at 6:30 entry fee is 35.00. Open Barrels will begin after youth runs entry fee is 45.00. 75% pay out on 1/2 splits this is a buckle series and you must attend 3 of the 5 to qualify for the buckle

Auditing cost is $20 per day or $50 for all 3 days. Bring your own chair, food, drink, notepad, and pen.
