Tom Reed’s last Despooking Clinic before he moves to Maine.

We will meet at Cowgirl Tam’s house. Bring all of your event ideas.

Lets kick this year off with a great meeting and planning session. Bring a friend, your ideas for events and fundraisers! Dinner, drinks during the meeting and trivia to follow! Please let us know if you are able to make it day of so that we can reserve a table.

FULL PARADE ATTIRE!!!!!!

Please have your 40SC pink blouse, 40SC black jacket, black felt hat or helmet, fuchsia wild rag,  blue jeans. Horse needs 40SC black saddle pad, pink polo wraps. Depending on weather you can layer under parade attire. Gloves to be handed out at parade if they are to be used.

Please have your waivered filled out and either back to your Queen or mail them to FWSSR. I have placed the link below for you. They are due by Nov 30th, NO fax or email entries will be excepted. More information as it comes to us will be posted!

• All parade participants must review and sign a Participant Release Form. Release Forms must accompany the organization’s application at time of submission.
• Participants must carefully read and abide by all Parade rules.
• Health Papers: All horses and other equine are required to have proper health papers to participate in the parade or enter staging area. Riders must be in possession of health papers at all times. See ” Official Health Requirements” as provided in the application information for mandatory health requirements on horses and other equine.

Cowgirl Judi is hosting a game night in their game room. Bring your favorite games and family to enjoy a night of fun!! Food and drinks will be provided.

1/15/24 Update: Since we had to reschedule the January 13, 2024 FYFS and Browband Workshops to January 27, 2024, Cowgirl Liz has offered to host our January meeting at her house in conjunction with the other events. Our January meeting will be held at 12:30. Immediately following the meeting will be the FYFS workshop and then, browband making.

Please email for location and additional information. This meeting will be held at a private residence, and we will not be publicly posting the address.

Due to weather, this event has been rescheduled from 1/13/24 to 1/27/24.

One of our cowgirls is hosting a equitation workshop at 1 PM at her private residence. At 3 PM, the same member will host a browband making workshop. Space available for 6-10 participants. Cost is about $10 for leather, plus any bling you would like to add.

We will be delivering Valentine Goodie Bags for the residents of the Big Spring Skilled Care Facility.

Bring a friend, your ideas for events and fundraisers! We will be doing a pot luck (facility is also BYOB) during the meeting. Afterwards there will be axe throwing, archery, corn hole & darts! Please let us know if you are able to make it day of so that we can plan the potluck and let the venue know a head count.

Barn Dance & Line Dancing Lessons at Granville (Granite Falls) Grange Hall! Doors open at 6pm & Line Dancing Lessons start at 7pm until 9pm. Open dancing between lessons and at 9pm. Miller Meats Food Truck will be set up and serving great food starting at 4pm. This is a FREE event open to every one of all ages!! POP UP vendors will also be on site! Spring Break Girls trip to Prude Ranch for some outdoor adventures.

We will be Trail Riding at Prude Ranch.

We will be riding from Gentry Wimberely’s house to Canyon Road Bar and Grill. This will be a 6-7 mile ride with drink stops if needed. we are planning to unload at Gentrys then convoying trucks and trailers to Canyon Road we will have a cowgirl uber to take the drivers who are also riding back to the horses. We will have Dinner at Kbobs Steakhouse in Ft. Stockton.

We will be Trail Riding at Big Bend National Park.

We will have dinner at Jetts in Marfa, Tx.

We will be in Marfa Texas watching the Marfa Lights.

We will be watching and discussing Training Video’s by Clinton Anderson and sharing our favorite snacks. We will meet at Halie’s and watch the video’s in her theater room.
