Join us for a ride in the woods on beautiful lake Benbrook.  Be saddled and ready to ride by 11:00.  Some nice ups and downs with some rocky spots.  Normally a 2-3 hour ride, approx 6-9 miles.  You can easily turn back early & not get lost.  It’s an out & back.   We look forward to seeing you there.

Lets kick this year off with a great meeting and planning session. Bring a friend, your ideas for events and fundraisers! Dinner, drinks during the meeting and trivia to follow! Please let us know if you are able to make it day of so that we can reserve a table.

We love the stock show and Rodeo, we practically live there! If you go, take a selfie and we will add you to the roster. Specifically, we will do the following events:

Grand Entry 1/23-Go Pink night -be at trailer parking by 5:30 traditional parade attire

Grand Entry 1/25 TCU Night purple shirts, black 40SC vest

Grand Entry 1/27 Rutledge at 11 am performance arrive by 9:00 with long sleeve white shirt, black vest.

Grand Entry 1/29 Military Appreciation night- black vest and white shirt- we will provide red bandannas

black saddle blankets all days

***GE walkover with police escort is 1 hour prior to performance

*** all performances need pink wraps on front legs and pink wild rag unless otherwise stated.

All long sleeve shirts must be button ups. Arena attire!

you must have a physical copy of both your coggins and a health certificate to get your horse on the FWSSR grounds. No exceptions. They will not accept a coggins from your phone.

FULL PARADE ATTIRE!!!!!!

Please have your 40SC pink blouse, 40SC black jacket, black felt hat or helmet, fuchsia wild rag,  blue jeans. Horse needs 40SC black saddle pad, pink polo wraps. Depending on weather you can layer under parade attire. Gloves to be handed out at parade if they are to be used.

Please have your waivered filled out and either back to your Queen or mail them to FWSSR. I have placed the link below for you. They are due by Nov 30th, NO fax or email entries will be excepted. More information as it comes to us will be posted!

• All parade participants must review and sign a Participant Release Form. Release Forms must accompany the organization’s application at time of submission.
• Participants must carefully read and abide by all Parade rules.
• Health Papers: All horses and other equine are required to have proper health papers to participate in the parade or enter staging area. Riders must be in possession of health papers at all times. See ” Official Health Requirements” as provided in the application information for mandatory health requirements on horses and other equine.

Mustang trainers have been formally selected and invited to compete in the exclusive Mustang Magic weekend during the legendary Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, January 18-20, 2024! Mustangs will travel from Idaho to Fort Worth, Texas to be matched with their trainers on Friday, September 8th at 11 a.m. during The Fort Worth Mustang Show at the cattle pens on the south side of the John Justin Arena. Mustang trainers will return January 18 to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo Mustang Magic to exhibit their gentled mustang. The Top 10 highest scoring trainer and mustang pairs will move forward to the Saturday night’s Mustang Magic Top 10 Freestyle Finals, where they will show off their partnership for a chance to become the 2024 FWSSR Mustang Magic Champion! Adoption/Auction will immediately follow naming of the FWSSR Mustang Magic Champion

Come by and do some shopping, visiting, and retail therapy with Gypsy Jewel. Snacks and Drinks will be provided.

Cowgirl Judi is hosting a game night in their game room. Bring your favorite games and family to enjoy a night of fun!! Food and drinks will be provided.

Cowgirls let’s get together and plan our yearly calendar. We can meet at Back Country Tack shop, do some shopping and have a great BBQ lunch for 7$.  Let’s support our community businesses. Bring some good ideas! This is your chapter! See you around noon. Bring a friend!

Cowgirls we’re going to ride Saturday at Fell Hunt Camp, 1369 Cedar Springs Rd, Bradley, SC.  You can start either at the Fell camp or from Toni Vonruden’s house 181 Tuck Rd, Bradley SC., at the top of the trail. Camp if you like, primitive. 10$. We will have a chili dinner at Toni”s when we arrive there. If you’re leaving from campground, be ready to ride at 11am. EVENT LOCATION UPDATED!

Bring a friend, your ideas for events and fundraisers! We will be doing a pot luck (facility is also BYOB) during the meeting. Afterwards there will be axe throwing, archery, corn hole & darts!
