FULL PARADE ATTIRE!!!!!!
Please have your 40SC pink blouse, 40SC black jacket, black felt hat or helmet, fuchsia wild rag, blue jeans. Horse needs 40SC black saddle pad, pink polo wraps. Depending on weather you can layer under parade attire. Gloves to be handed out at parade if they are to be used.
Please have your waivered filled out and either back to your Queen or mail them to FWSSR. I have placed the link below for you. They are due by Nov 30th, NO fax or email entries will be excepted. More information as it comes to us will be posted!
- All parade participants must review and sign a Participant Release Form. Release Forms must accompany the organization’s application at time of submission.
- Participants must carefully read and abide by all Parade rules.
- Health Papers: All horses and other equine are required to have proper health papers to participate in the parade or enter staging area. Riders must be in possession of health papers at all times. See ” Official Health Requirements” as provided in the application information for mandatory health requirements on horses and other equine.

We have a monthly Craft night on the 3rd Tuesday of Every Month. They will be held at Joy Haut’s house. We will select the craft during our Monthly Roundup the previous month, to give Joy time to get all the supplies.
January – We will be making Valentine’s Day decor – A rag garland and Gnomes.
Come join us at Queen Candace’s for some fun games! We will switch it up from time to time on what games we are playing, but it will always be a great time. Bring a snack to share, Punch and water will be provided.
January – BackFire – If you don’t know how to play, we will teach you. It is really pretty easy, and fun!!
Happy 2024 Cowgirls. Our monthly Grub night will be on January 25, 2024 at Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant on Foothill Blvd. We will be discussing upcoming events, year end awards party, holiday party, slush funds, memberships and much more. Bring a friend and if they join, you get a free dinner. Susan won the basket so she will be bringing the raffle basket this month. Hope to see you there.

Come out and watch our very own Rock Springs Grizzlies Hockey team play on their home ice. Game will be on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 7 pm a the Rock Springs Family Rec Center Ice Arena, 3900 Sweetwater Drive, Rock Springs WY 82901. Tickets are $10 each. Horse Course serves as the main fundraiser for the Student Chapter of AAEP (Equine Veterinary Club) at WSU, allowing us students the opportunity to host labs that let us practice skills like dental exams, ultrasound exams, and joint injections. We appreciate your interest in supporting our club!

We had to postpone the ride at Joy’s due to weather, So we have adjusted it and we are going to San Angelo State Park Saturday instead. Some people are going Fri-Sun – come when you can. We will have a group ride on Saturday at 10 AM .
We are all going to start off at Joy‘s house, as a meeting point, and then head out from there. Be in your saddle by 6 PM so we can get out and have a good ride before it gets dark.

We decided to donate a buckle for the Sweetwater Ranch Sort Club, and also for the Wild West Outlaws gymkhana 40 and over age group. Slush fund is $492.00. before the deduction for buckles.

This is a benefit for Carly and Ben Hautala. Cade pass away on January 21, 2024. We will do a Silent Auction, Dollar Raffles and a food truck. We will begin playing Xtreme Music Bingo starting at 7 PM. Cost of the boards are $10.00 for your 1st and $5.00 for any additional boards per category. Categories will be determined soon. We will be riding from Gentry Wimberely’s house to Canyon Road Bar and Grill. This will be a 6-7 mile ride with drink stops if needed. we are planning to unload at Gentrys then convoying trucks and trailers to Canyon Road we will have a cowgirl uber to take the drivers who are also riding back to the horses. Participants please bring your own hay, water buckets and muck items. The owner of temporary stalled horse must provide all care for horse. All horses coming to Cornerstone Ranch must be up to date on all vaccinations and record will be asked for.

ABOUT RICKY QUINN
Ricky Quinn was raised in Wyoming where he grew up around horses and other livestock. When Ricky was a teenager he met Buck Brannaman at a horsemanship clinic. Meeting Buck greatly impacted the direction of Ricky’s life. He knew that there was something unique about Buck and his ability with horses. After high school, Ricky moved to Montana where he worked on a ranch for nine years starting colts, learning horsemanship, and caring for cattle as he continued his study of true horsemanship.
Today, Ricky travels throughout the United States and Internationally teaching horsemanship. Ricky and his wife own a ranch in North Platte, Nebraska where they are raising a family while buying and selling stocker cattle. Ricky is around livestock everyday whether it’s on the road helping people with horses or at home weaning a fresh set of calves. Ricky’s life experiences and his study of the teachings of Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt, and Buck Brannaman have taught him that animals want to be treated a certain way and that horses in particular are very aware of the feeling a person offers them.
Ricky teaches the mechanics of properly riding and operating a horse, but he also teaches the people what it means to feel of a horse. Once a person experiences a horse responding to their feel, the opportunity for self-improvement and for positive change is incredible. When we become the person that our horse enjoys, we feel better and it usually benefits and lifts all other areas of our life including our interaction with our family, friends, and other human beings.”
This is the 69th year to hold the annual fundraiser in support of our little parish of St. Helen’s. Lots of great raffle prizes and lots of great auction items. Dinner is Corned Beef and Irish Stew. Come on out! Tickets available at the door. See you there.

Join the cowgirls and area law enforcement agencies for a night of bingo, games, raffles and fun, honoring Fallen Officer Nevada Krinkee. This is a fundraiser for this young officer’s family. Bingo cards are $10 each. Event will be on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Doors open at 6 pm. Please see flyer for further details. 
This class is to help educate on what to do in different emergency scenarios. We will be discussing what to do and what not to do. What gear to have for example what to keep in a bag in your vehicle if it breaks down on the side of the road. What to keep in your house if the power goes out. If this sounds like something you want to learn come out to Coal Train Coffee Depot and check it out!
