Hey Ladies! Join us for our monthly meeting at 6:30pm. Please wear your thinking caps. We want to come up with some camping ideas and hoping find some fun camping to do as a group. Dont forget to bring your $ bills to buy your raffle tickets for the drawing. tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. A free raffle ticket will be given to those that bring a guest (someone who hasnt attended one of our meetings before).

Equine Health & Emergency First Aid
Our most comprehensive, and popular, course! Join us for a one day course covering: what your vet needs to know, conditioning a horse to accept treatment, taking vital signs, dealing with lacerations, punctures, colic, choke, collapse, casting, shock, hoof issues, recognizing pain in the horse and pain source identification, injury prevention and so much more! All attendees receive a certificate of completion and first aid manual.

Advanced Emergency First Aid/ Wilderness Edition or Indoor Edition
Join us for a one day advanced equine emergency first aid course and learn what to do in the most extreme situations! Covering everything from lacerations to poison, burns to bites, fractures to sucking chest wounds, this course prepares the student to handle the most serious injuries while waiting for the vet. We will also cover horse assessment, conformation, and conditioning for activities. $159.00
If you take this course in combination with “Equine Health & Emergency First Aid” , the discounted package price is $295 for both courses.

The Yamhill county sheriff’s posse always puts on a great fun night with barrels and poles and multiple other games
1/15/24 Update: Since we had to reschedule the January 13, 2024 FYFS and Browband Workshops to January 27, 2024, Cowgirl Liz has offered to host our January meeting at her house in conjunction with the other events. Our January meeting will be held at 12:30. Immediately following the meeting will be the FYFS workshop and then, browband making.
Please email for location and additional information. This meeting will be held at a private residence, and we will not be publicly posting the address.
Due to weather, this event has been rescheduled from 1/13/24 to 1/27/24.
One of our cowgirls is hosting a equitation workshop at 1 PM at her private residence. At 3 PM, the same member will host a browband making workshop. Space available for 6-10 participants. Cost is about $10 for leather, plus any bling you would like to add.

The lodge opens at 6:00 to claim your seats for Bingo. Bingo starts at 6:30- you DO NOT have to be a lodge member to play Bingo.
Food and beverages are also available for purchase.
The cost is $20 for 7 games of 9 cards each for straight Bingo.
During the break, they will run a 50/50 and do Queen of Hearts. Everyone can play the 50/50 but only members can play the Queen of Hearts.
You must play all first 7 games to play the Blackout at the end. The cost to play Blackout is $5 for 12 cards.

This ride is presented by the Southwest Washington Regional Appaloosa Club located in Moscow, Idaho. A portion of the proceeds go to the youth program of Chief Joseph Foundation.
Come join this ride. You can paint up your horses with spots/dots, hearts or what ever will make it fun. Decorate away!
The ride is $30 which includes 2 raffle tickets into the general raffle and lunch. Extra tickets are $5 for 2 tickets. $5 of the $30 goes directly to the Evergreen Sportsmen Club for parking.

FCSC Annual Tack Swap. We will have indoor vendors on two floors of our clubhouse and outside spaces available. More information to follow. Sign ups should be available at the end of December. Mark your calendars!
The FCSC Annual Tack Swap has been set for Saturday, March 9th. They will be using the same format as last year with both inside and outside spots available to rent. First space is $25 and extra spaces can be added at $15 each. This allows for social distancing and was a big help to the success of last year’s event. Rendezvous is a state sponsored event put on by Back Country Horsemen of Washington that is open to the public. This is a non-riding event. We offer educational classes, shopping, social and informative events and seminars. There are no fees for anything other than the Saturday nights catered dinner and the on-site camping. Another fun idea! Really hoping for us to all get together and get to know each other so in the spring and summer our rides will be relaxing and we will know a bit about each other. Always awkward to ride with strangers, Right???? Bring a few trinkets from a favorite horse, dog, person etc. to place gently into a keepsake.
