Trail Ride the beautiful Vasquez Rocks park. This ride is sponsored by ETI Corral 86 If you are not a current member there will be a $10 fee for insurance due at the time of the ride.

Sweetheart Ride – Coed Event. $25.00 per couple, $15.00 per single cowgirl. We will be doing about a 4 hour trail ride with lunch/dessert following, champagne too!

Come out and join in on the fun at the start of this sorting series for 2024… Text entries available the Friday before the event from 8am-6pm… Series runs from from March thru August. Finals in August. Pays 1st-3rd places. 20$ per run. Pick and draws up to 8 runs. Open and novice classes and youth will be available if enough riders. Prizes at the finals: 1st Open-saddle, 2nd Open-buckle, 3rd Open-breast collar. 1st Novice-buckle, 2nd Novice-buckle, 3rd Novice-breast collar.. All are welcome

ABOUT THE VENUE
Umatilla Sage Riders is conveniently located on Hwy 395 near Hermiston, Oregon close to the majestic Columbia River and the site of the Lewis and Clark Trail. Umatilla Sage Riders has a clubhouse, arena and trail course on site. Dry camping is available and you may bring your own pen or containment system.
The clubhouse kitchen will be open for light breakfast items and lunch.
A potluck is planned for Saturday evening.
EVENT DETAILS
Friday evening will be a fun Extreme Cowboy Trail Challenge sponsored by Umatilla Sage Riders. It will be set up so everyone will enjoy the competition. This is not an Equine Trail Sports event and scores will not go towards National or Regional events.
Saturday Obstacle Course (OC) – a mounted event in an arena/field. A saddle (treeless included) and headstall with reins are required. All riding disciplines are welcome.
Sunday In Hand (IH) – a dismounted event in an arena/field, halter and lead rope preferred. All equines welcome – any size, breed, and age.

THE TERRAIN
Arena sand, rocks, grass. Barefoot friendly .
MEALS
Friday evening on your own.
Saturday light breakfast items lunch and beverages available for purchase at clubhouse
Saturday evening bring a dish to share. Potluck will be in the clubhouse
AWARDS
Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin’ (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer!
Weekend High Point awards for each bracket.
ADDITIONAL FEES
Payment for ALL Amenities reserved at the time of online registration are due ON SITE and are NOT collected at the time of online registration. There will be a $10 a day haul in fee for anyone not camping.

A WSH “B” show and the first of the 2024 FCSC Shows. A two-day show that will put the best equine and human partner to the test. This is a 48 year tradition and we look forward to seeing you again this year!

Please join us for a monthly ride. This ride will happen every 3rd Saturday of every month. We are in no hurry and on no schedule no agenda.
Come join us for a great place to ride. The canyon offers trails for all levels. You will need to call and make your reservations…. There are hook ups, pens, nice public bath house, dump station, and places for primitive camping…

Come join our chapter at the amazing Gillespie Ranch in New Mexico. This is a true working cattle ranch sitting on 30,000 acres in the Lincoln Nation Forrest. There are limited spots available, so make reservations as soon as possible. Full hook ups with covered stalls. Yes, it’s in July, but bring a sweater or hoodie, you are in some higher elevations… Trails for all levels of riders…. All Cowgirls are welcome…
