Dance Recital at the Lyman High School.
The cowgirls are attending the Sandhills Rodeo on January 12, 2024. We will meet for dinner at 6:00. The rodeo starts at 7:30.
The cowgirls are headed North to Lubbock for the Wooly Winter Open Show at Texas Tech Equestrian Center. The shows starts with Halter at 8:00, and will likely last until 5:00 p.m. or later, ending with Ranch classes. Check out the following URL for more information:

With all the weather at we know these trails are still ridable! Trail Ride on the Trinity River. Park at the trailer parking next to Billy Bob’s. Ride out at 11 AM.

69th Annual St. Patrick’s Day; Lucky 17 Irish Dinner, Raffle and Auction. Saturday, March 16th. Dinner 6-8pm. Raffle/Auction 8pm. Credit/Debit Cards Accepted. Adults $15. Youth (6to11) $10. Kids (5 & under) $5.
Clinic limited to 15 participants. Currently they have a waiting list. The instructors are from Rustic Farm.

Join our Marvelous Mavericks riding the trails around the lake at Abilene State Park.
Check in at the office to show proof of negative coggins, and pay the $5/person park entrance fee.
Make a U-turn around the office and go back out to the highway. Go Left for 1 mile. Lake entrance is on the right. We park near the swimming area or in the first boat ramp parking lot.
The trail is a 2 hour ride. Bathrooms are close to parking. Yes, there are areas where you can water your horse.

Our monthly meeting. We are incorporating the obstacle course meeting with our regular agenda. Come and be part of the activities. Light refreshments always welcome, but not necessary. Monday, February26th, 6 pm.
We will be attending a trail ride organized by BTCC at Six O Ranch. Ride out is at 11, usually ride 3ish hours here.
*$10 ranch fee
Sunday Afternoon ride at the Grasslands! Changing things up and starting from the Valley View trailhead to see the other side of the Grasslands. Charges for parking in the camping area.
Come on out to Mini Doc’s!
Doc’s Bar and Grill has an event venue just to the left of the archway entrance. Mini Doc’s provides a private building, bar and wait staff.

A certified massage therapist will be available for appointments @ ranch. $35/30 minutes & $75 for one hour if 2 or more. ( This will be at your own expense) .
This is a closed chapter event. Must pay Liesa Kennedy or Babe Chambers $100 by no later than 14 Feb 2024.
Rocking RJ Ranch – Stephenville: Ribbons, Cows and Fun and good food!!First show is March 16. There will be a cow practice on Friday starting at 4. Bring your trainer or just practice following a cow. Each cow is $20.
We have added a MUSTANG group! We have continued the walk trot division.
We have reduced the office fee to $15 per family.

Join us at Abilene State Park for our monthly trail ride. Be sure to check in, show coggins, and pay your fee to the park station before heading to the lake. Lake entrance is left 1 mile up the highway on the right side. We park near the swimming/picnic area. See y’all there!

It is Bluebonnet time in Texas and this ranch never disappoints! Let’s go take a ride and test our sense of adventure while checking out the beautiful landscape that the bluebonnets always create. Bring a lunch with you and we’ll take a picnic along the way.
The owner typically meets us to check Coggins, get release form signed and collect fees.
“Bust a Nut” is a fundraiser event to benefit 5150 Rescue Farm. Come have drinks, listen to Heidi’s stories, hang out with friends, and look at some great art. Drinks will be served from a converted horse trailer. More details as she posts the latest on the event.
Purpose of the fundraiser: 5150 farm was surrendered a bunch of Guinea pigs that need to be neutered.
Heidi and 5150 Farms rescues animals of all types, like the pig that caused an uproar locally. All animals are cared for and get vet treatments. Some will find their forever home on the farm and others are able to get adopted.
We can also hit up the Cantina for Mexican food and drinks after to keep the laughs going.
