Cowgirls let’s get together and plan our yearly calendar. We can meet at Back Country Tack shop, do some shopping and have a great BBQ lunch for 7$. Let’s support our community businesses. Bring some good ideas! This is your chapter! See you around noon. Bring a friend!
Drill team, trick riding, cowboy history, parade of hounds, fox hunting, mounted archery, trail safety, vendors. This expo covers it all. Come out and support the SC horse council. 10am to 4pm.
Must have current Coggins.
Come and hang out with us. Bring a horse or two. Play day!! Poles, polo, soccer, games, or whatever else we can come up with. $5 per horse to cover the cost of the arena. Money goes to Virgil.
Want to learn to line dance? Join some cowgirls at the Water’s Cafe Wednesday mornings at 10:30.

Cowboy Mounted shooting Starts Friday with Shotgun and rifle. Saturday will be the main match.
Sunday Mardi Gras Parade
Lindsay’s son will be 2 years old. Help celebrate this milestone. Join the party at the Lyman Library. Please RSVP to Lindsay (303-877-1426).
Enjoy a traditional Mardi Gras Parade continued with a chicken run and a grease pig chase.
Howard Venable road and surrounding roads will be closed from 6 am to 4 pm so arrive early. There will be parking at the Vcross ranch, we will shuttle to the Prince ranch.

Cowgirls we’re going to ride Saturday at Fell Hunt Camp, 1369 Cedar Springs Rd, Bradley, SC. You can start either at the Fell camp or from Toni Vonruden’s house 181 Tuck Rd, Bradley SC., at the top of the trail. Camp if you like, primitive. 10$. We will have a chili dinner at Toni”s when we arrive there. If you’re leaving from campground, be ready to ride at 11am. This is a invite to all whom would like to join us on this event to ride and hike the trails of Neptunes Shark River Park with Neptunes Cowgirls!
We will be having corned beef and cabbage and potatoes made by our cowgirls!!
Whether a member or not come on out meet us and see some horses!!! We enjoy opening up our passion to our local shore communities!
Don’t forget apples and carrots for our giant furry kids!! Make sure you dress the best in your green!!

Join us for a practice Mounted shooting session March 30, 2024 10 am – 2 pm, priced at $20 per person. You can either bring your own blanks or purchase 10 blanks from us for $7.
Afterwards, enjoy a fun filled day with the 40SC moving cattle in the arena and some lively line dancing with Cowgirl Melanie Bourque. Don’t forget to bring your own Berverage.

Come join the Laurens Club memorial for Mr Shull, spring ride. Primitive camping, generators allowed. Steak dinner on Saturday night with entertainment. Sandy road trails mostly. All event fees goes to the Special Permit Use and to help Support 40 Somethings Cowgirls Neptune, NJ Chapter for future events and special donations!
$10 prepaid via venmo/zelle/paypal will hold your horses numbered spot/ non refundable
Whether pending—-we will be watching the weather closely…if its a blow rainy stormy weather event will be cancelled
3-4 days prior to date of event one of our cowgirls will call you to collect the remaining $10 prior to the date of event then your good to go on the guest list…Spaces are limited to 20 horses /day so we do offer a cancellation list and waiting list for our next rides to be offered to those on a first come serve basis. Many really want the chance to ride the shoreline horseback and or just enjoy seeing them even interacting with them.
Whether a equestrian or not, a member or not take the ride out to join us on this very special event making many dreams come true to ride the Jersey Shore ! Open to photographers!

This one day clinic will be headed up by Martha Peddicord at JandA Stables in Donalds SC. She will go over how different bits work in horses mouth, choosing the best bit for you and your horse, how to balance your saddle to improve your comfort and safety.
