Pattern Practice at TA Head Arena in Goldthwaite . Melissa Davis will set up/ tear down different speed patterns and we can ride the patterns how ever long we want but it is a open arena so weather permitting via rain / snow . please call before you haul . this will be a fun and social event no timers or drags but lots of fun. Bring Neg. coggins and bring a friend. great way to knock the dust off the saddle & leg up that horse or just sit and watch – go at your own speed no pressure no rush .

Cowgirls let’s get together and plan our yearly calendar. We can meet at Back Country Tack shop, do some shopping and have a great BBQ lunch for 7$.  Let’s support our community businesses. Bring some good ideas! This is your chapter! See you around noon. Bring a friend!

Let’s get our ride on at Jen’s.  We will meet at no0n, bring something to eat or snack on and something to drink.  There are oil field roads and some could be rocky.  If your horse is barefoot, you will probably want boots for your pony.  The terrain is mostly sand except the roads.  Wonder what kind of critters we might see?m

The workshop is hands on demo.  We make Rustic Sourdough Boule, Together and the instructor walks you through step by step.  All participants take home some of the very active wild yeast sourdough starter.  The instructor also will bring a variety of yummy wild yeast sourdough treats to enjoy.

*** Due to Show Schedule, we have a revised date!*** A few of us will be attending the first of a Series of Ranch Horse Shows at Arrowheart Ranch.  We will be reviewing and auditing for consideration of future participation.  Join us if you can and we will be going to dinner together afterward.  See Ya There!!!

The Caddo National Grasslands WMA is located in Fannin County about 70 miles northeast of Dallas near Bonham. From Dallas take US 75 north for 35 miles to the SH 121 exit going to Bonham, another 35 miles to Bonham, and then about 15-20 miles northeast of Bonham to the WMA. SH 121 connects to US 82 at Bonham. Stay on US 82 18 miles to Honey Grove.

Caddo is a Federal Park Property.  You can purchase a Lifetime Senior Membership Discount Card at www.Reservations.gov, or several others to pick from!

We will gather up, laugh, eat and plan our month.  Bring your ideas for any new events and we will discuss them during the meal.

Some of y’all have been wanting to paint these horseshoes.  We can gather around and do a little crafting and alot of laughing.  If you have any old horseshoes, bring them, if not we will have some there.

Join us for Amy Weber’s Birthday and tackle the Hot Chocolate Run at Fair Park in Dallas!!  Amy has completed this a couple of times and has good advice.  Sign up early and take advantage of early sign-up Discounts… by December 3rd for best discount!!  If you do not want to participate, you can come, shop at the Vendor Expo, and cheer others at the Finish Line.  You should also know, parking is very crowded.  Get there early and be prepared.  Then we will hang around to celebrate and take in the sites.  Contact Cowgirl Amy with your questions.  SEE YA THERE!

Cowgirls, this is a local opportunity to hear a great “Author, Humorist & Playwright”, Michael Johnson.  Michael lives in our own Campbell, TX.  I had the opportunity to hear him at a Lazy TK Ranch event in Breckenridge a couple of years ago.  Such a fun Cowboy gentlemen with stories to tell.  Tickets are free to the public, with donations appreciated!  Plan your calendar and save this evening!  Please plan to wear your 40SC Gear and make a showing… and fork up those donations!  It will be good for the Theatre and great for Michael’s fans!

69th Annual St. Patrick’s Day; Lucky 17 Irish Dinner, Raffle and Auction.  Saturday, March 16th.  Dinner 6-8pm.  Raffle/Auction 8pm.  Credit/Debit Cards Accepted.  Adults $15.  Youth (6to11) $10.  Kids (5 & under) $5.

Come on out and share the covered arena for a morning of peaceful, comfortable, riding and training!!  We will be here to help and assist, or just travel the trails in the dirt!!  If you need assistance, do not hesitate to ask.  Casual fun day… bring your preferred drinks and snacks for fellowship after riding!!  Please do not forget to sign Arena Waiver and drop your $20 for Honor System payments!

Cowgirls we’re going to ride Saturday at Fell Hunt Camp, 1369 Cedar Springs Rd, Bradley, SC.  You can start either at the Fell camp or from Toni Vonruden’s house 181 Tuck Rd, Bradley SC., at the top of the trail. Camp if you like, primitive. 10$. We will have a chili dinner at Toni”s when we arrive there. If you’re leaving from campground, be ready to ride at 11am. Cowgirl Jennie Vayo is setting up an opportunity for you to participate in a Night Ride Obstacle Clinic at Legacy Ranch in Lone Oak.  This Clinic will be offered by Hunt County Sheriff’s Posse, under the direction of David and Terry Rogers.  It is limited to ten (10) riders, so sign-up quickly.  If weather is prohibitive, it will be rescheduled.  Come on out… new opportunity, new experience!!
