The Caddo National Grasslands WMA is located in Fannin County about 70 miles northeast of Dallas near Bonham. From Dallas take US 75 north for 35 miles to the SH 121 exit going to Bonham, another 35 miles to Bonham, and then about 15-20 miles northeast of Bonham to the WMA. SH 121 connects to US 82 at Bonham. Stay on US 82 18 miles to Honey Grove.
Caddo is a Federal Park Property. You can purchase a Lifetime Senior Membership Discount Card at www.Reservations.gov, or several others to pick from!

Come ride the Molalla Corridor Saturday, we’ll be meeting in the parking area at Hardy Creek Trail Head at 10:30am.
Cowgirl Jennie Vayo is setting up an opportunity for you to participate in a Night Ride Obstacle Clinic at Legacy Ranch in Lone Oak. This Clinic will be offered by Hunt County Sheriff’s Posse, under the direction of David and Terry Rogers. It is limited to ten (10) riders, so sign-up quickly. If weather is prohibitive, it will be rescheduled. Come on out… new opportunity, new experience!!

To my understanding this is a primitive campground. You will need your generator for power, if you chose to stay. Please contact Linda with any questions!!

Come out and join in on the fun at the start of this sorting series for 2024… Text entries available the Friday before the event from 8am-6pm… Series runs from from March thru August. Finals in August. Pays 1st-3rd places. 20$ per run. Pick and draws up to 8 runs. Open and novice classes and youth will be available if enough riders. Prizes at the finals: 1st Open-saddle, 2nd Open-buckle, 3rd Open-breast collar. 1st Novice-buckle, 2nd Novice-buckle, 3rd Novice-breast collar.. All are welcome

Join us for a Memorial Day Getaway for the whole family and our Cowgirls Friends!!! Cowgirls will be trail riding with ride out by 9:30; Men will be cooking!? You are welcome to bring your preferred food and throw it on our grill, or prepare your own. Remember, this is remote, so there will be no running to Chicken Express at the last minute. Be prepared for your family. We will have a “pot luck” sign-up for sides and desserts. Bring your Kiddos, bring your Grands, bring your Friends! Bring your horses, bring your chairs, or hammock. Relax and enjoy a fun day together!!

Come join us for a great place to ride. The canyon offers trails for all levels. You will need to call and make your reservations…. There are hook ups, pens, nice public bath house, dump station, and places for primitive camping…
You have to preregister for the St Paul Trail Ride, you can do that at the attached link.
Come ride along the Willamette River and through St Paul’s countryside rain or shine. Riders will be led by the St Paul Rodeo’s Royal Court through the Willamette Valley farmlands
7:30am-10:30am – St Paul Rodeo Trail Ride breakfast served in the Tack Room. Follow attached link to purchase tickets for breakfast.
Before 9:30am – All horse trailers must arrive to St Paul Rodeo grounds. NO trailers allowed to enter parking lot after 9:30am.
9:45am – Riders gather on horseback in warm-up arena located in parking lot.
10:00am – Trail Ride promptly begins
noon – BBQ lunch begins, hosted by the St Paul Jaycees, for participants after the Trail Ride.
All participants must sign up ahead of time. Parking lot on Rodeo Grounds will be open for trailer parking. Riders, please check in at the Rodeo entry office and pick up a back number before the ride. Experienced riders on safe horses are welcome. Ride covers approximately 8 miles and takes 2-3 hours.

Come join our chapter at the amazing Gillespie Ranch in New Mexico. This is a true working cattle ranch sitting on 30,000 acres in the Lincoln Nation Forrest. There are limited spots available, so make reservations as soon as possible. Full hook ups with covered stalls. Yes, it’s in July, but bring a sweater or hoodie, you are in some higher elevations… Trails for all levels of riders…. All Cowgirls are welcome…
Uinta County Fair Sorting. Two-person team. Registration opens at 5:00 pm. Sorting starts at 6:00 pm. $25.00 each per run for up to six runs. Buckle awarded.
Required daily fair admission $12 adult, $8 child, includes fair activities and concerts. $30 cattle/office fee per contestant.

It’s that time of year again, end of summer… Please join us we have a “glow up” ride in the pasture at Queen Terri’s house. Bring all your glow sticks and glowing accessories for you and your horse…Bring your favorite dish to add to the pot luck dinner that will be at 8pm, and we will ride out at dark… Over night stay is available, but, please contact Queen Terri for arrangements….All are welcome…

Calling all Cowgirls…. Come join us for the final Long Ear Benefit ride. This will be the final trail ride that benefits the Ben Richey Boys Ranch in memory of the founder, Bob Grice.. It’s all primatve camping, but there is water troughs for horse, port-a-potties and showers for humans. 3 hot chuck wagon style meals served on Saturday with an auction Saturday evening. Sunday morning breakfast and worship services for anyone wanting to attend. All are welcomed, and encouraged to attend.
