We will be having an awesome desensitizing clinic featuring Bill Richey, visit the link below to find out more about his background and website. Here is some of his bio :

Bill Richey, the founder and CEO of National Mounted Police Services is a POST certified mounted police instructor. He was instrumental in creating the mounted units for the city of Duluth, also in Forsyth and Gilmer Counties (Georgia) and training their officers and horses. He worked with Atlanta Police Mounted Unit in preparation for the 1996 Olympics and was also involved in reorganizing the unit. He was the chief instructor for Mobile Mounted Police Mardi Gras School. Mr. Richey has participated in and won or placed in every national mounted police competition he has entered. He has over 40 years’ experience as a mounted police officer or mounted police trainer, and almost as many as civilian trainer/ instructor. He has spent countless hours training officers and civilians from all over North America, the Middle east and South America, as well as their mounts, to perform safely and professionally, from the trail, to the movies, to the show ring and to Mardi Gras.

He will be teaching us how to protect ourselves when out on the trails from creepy hikers to out of control dogs! The clinic will have many obstacles that you would not normally see but once your horse builds his confidence in this course, your horse will learn to process obstacles and challenges. This will be a nice small group, so we get lots of time to work with our horses.

The $395 includes a dry camp spot, stall and the informational clinic with obstacles.

A deposit of 197.50 is due by Jan 15th to secure your spot.

Auditing is available for $20 bring a chair since there is no seating available around the arena.

Cinch Crafting Mornings – Start the day by channeling your inner artisan. We will guide you through the art of cinch making – from selecting materials to mastering design work. With our patient guidance, you’ll create a cinch that’s not only functional but also a reflection of your unique style. This basic cinch-making clinic covers a comprehensive range of topics, including:

This introductory cinch class focuses primarily on straight cinches. The techniques you learn can be applied to create custom straight cinches, breast collars, belts, hat bands, key chains, and more. Saturday’s Intro Ride, 35/ 50 / 75 milers, for those of you riding on Saturday, please
Vet in after the 25’s are out on Friday, they leave at 1 pm. Your ride meeting will
be at 7:30 pm Friday evening.

A Farrier’s Name will be drawn from a hat on the week of July 4th.  Once the gift basket is completed I will reach out to the person who nominated the farrier the week of July 11th and set up a time and place to meet up to present the basket to the farrier and take photos.  The farrier’s who were chosen last year will not be able to be in the drawing this year.

To participate: you can either donate money to go towards the gift basket, donate snacks or gifts you think the farrier would appreciate.
