Rockin Wild Ranch and Arena has graciously opened up their gorgeous covered arena , for us to have fun  in their arena with Obstacles.

Bridges, teeter-tots , cowboy curtain, water obstacles, push mobile, tire drag, tire climb, mailbox, 42’ tarp, noodle obstacle, turn style, buddy carry , gates, jump, logs to cross, flag carry , music, and soooooo much more

if your looking for inspiration, encouragement, to share laughs , make incredible memories and meet some amazing 40 Something Cowgirls , then this is the event you’ve been waiting for!

please come a little early to saddle up and be ready to go

“Cops & Dobbers” is Sweetwater County’s way of giving back to a fallen officer from the Sheridan Police Department.

Sheridan Police Officer Sgt. Nevada Krinkee was killed in the line of duty on 2/13/24.  Sgt. Krinkee leaves behind a loving wife and family.

The Green River Police Department, Rock Springs Police Department, and the Sweetwater County’s Sheriff’s Office are hosting a night of Bingo, silent auction, and raffles.  All funds raised will be donated to Sgt. Krinkee family.

The Food Dude will be providing for purchase as well as drinks will be available.

We are attending the 2024 Lampasas Riding Club High point 6 part series . Event Fees $6 per event(members) or $7 ( non members)   (LRC membership is $50.00)

5 Events of the day : Clover leaf barrels, Poles, Straight away barrels, double barrel flags, hitch ‘n’go

Showdown On The Brazo

Come join us as we watch our very own  little sister  Callie Jackson , who was an extra in the movie

Outlaw!!!!! Callie plays  a ruff and Tuff Outlaw in a riding gang on her trusty horse named Sadie

Grab some popcorn,  a Dr Pepper and come join us in the beautiful downtown Brownwood lyric theatre

Callie will be taking pictures and autographs after the movie 🍿

These 2 day event is filled with family fun adventures

Live Music, chili cook off, cornhole tournament, rattler team roping , mutton butting, crown of Miss Diamondback Jubilee Rodeo Queen , wild hog sacking just to name a few

Lake  Protor ride in Comanche is both beautiful and scenic

ride last about an hour and a half and is rated easy with some rocks and sand

Plenty of parking for your truck and trailers

Afterwards  we’ll head over to Miguel’s Mexican Restaurant in Comanche , just a few minutes away …. Lunch is Dutch

Enjoy an evening of painting a “Highland Cow”.  There are two nights available Wednesday April 3rd or Thursday April 5th, your choice.

Painting starts at 6pm and runs until 8:30pm.

The $35 class fee includes:  2.5 hours of painting with an instructor, 16 x 20 stretched canvas that you get to take home, your own easel to work on, all the paint and brushes needed, along with an apron.  Don’t worry they have stencils and the instructor is available to help as well.  Don’t forget to bring some extra cash for drinks and food.

Be sure to reserve your spot now as space is limited.

We will be attending the Good Samaritan annual fundraiser

Help fight  Hunger locally & globally. Dine on a simple meal of soup, bread dessert and water. Take home a hand painted ceramic bowl as a reminder of the fight against food insecurity and hunger in our area and around the world

Come out and support the up and coming rodeo athletes of Wyoming as they compete for a spot on the state team and attend the national rodeo later this summer.  Rodeo action will start on Friday April 19th at 9am with the athletes of the Junior High division.  The High School events will be on Saturday & Sunday, April 20 & 21.  Saturday evening will also feature a rough stock performance.

All events will take place at the indoor arena at the events complex.

Grab a lawn chair and some dinner and come join us at the beautiful Early, City Park.

we’ll catch up on up coming events , and get to share in great fellowship

Jim welcomes both western & english riders.  Whether your horse is under saddle or still in the ground work stages of training, Jim is very well versatile and knowledgeable.

Come prepared to answer the question, “What do you want to learn/work on?”  Jim wants to help you with your goals and that is why he does one hour one-on-one sessions.

A one hour session with your horse is $160.

If you chose not to bring a horse there is a $25 per day audit fee.  Clinic participants are welcome to audit all riders sessions at no additional charge.

Sessions start at 9am and go until 5pm, with a one hour lunch break from noon to 1pm.

Participants must prepay in advance to reserve their spot.

Green River 40 Something Cowgirl, Kari Moneyhun, has teamed up with Sara Lowe of Sagebrush Training to offer a two-day confidence clinic focusing on ranch and trail obstacles.  These clinic are fun, encouraging, and full of laughter.  Sagebrush Sara works on building each rider up and strengthening your relationship with your horse.

Cost is $400 for the two day clinic.  Current 40 Something Cowgirl members get a 10% discount!

Pre-register by 5/1/24, $200 non-refundable deposit is required.  Remainder due one week before the event.
