Another fun idea! Really hoping for us to all get together and get to know each other so in the spring and summer our rides will be relaxing and we will know a bit about each other. Always awkward to ride with strangers, Right???? Bring a few trinkets from a favorite horse, dog, person etc. to place gently into a keepsake.

Go out and do some shopping at the Petticoats on the Prairie. Our Coahoma Cowgirl Kathy Edwards will have a booth there. It is 6.00 per person to get in. Please Contact Raela James (Coahoma, TX Queen) if you go so you can get on the roster.

We will be riding in the Mule Day Parade. Meeting in Rotary Park and following the parade route.
Come out and enjoy the Howard College Rodeo. Free Admission.
Large meadow for parking big rigs. Trails are mixed high desert, two-track and cow trails with a few sections of volcanic rock. Gentle roling elevation changes. AERC organized endurance ride (fees are dependent on distance: 25, 55, 75) with a 10 mile introductory trail ride.
We will be decorating flip flops for summer!!

IF you have never seen old-time plowing down with horses or mules, OR even if you have, you DON’T want to miss this:
The Farm Fest & Plowing Competition is the largest plowing competition on the West Coast, with 20+ teams of draft horses and mules.
See demos and meet the teamsters. Join for a day of old-time farming fun at this year’s event with Pioneer Kids’ activities, tours of the museum and 1880’s Hutchcroft School, old-time music, food and more!
Admission is $8 for adults and free for kids under 12.
This event is put on by the Yamhill County Historical Society-Yamhill Valley Heritage Center.
We will be riding at the Youth Horseman Arena and working on different obstacles with our horses.
Hours are 12 noon to 5pm each day
Come watch the fast paced excitement of mounted shooting hosted by South Sound Mounted Shooters. Enjoy local vendors for shopping and food trucks on site.
Spectators are free!

There will be a raffle drawing sometime during the meeting; tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Ya never know what you have the chance to win. Bring a “new” friend and get a free raffle ticket.

This is a day event put on by Extreme Trail Sports. Great for those new to the sport. Day rentals for stalls are available and should be reserved when you register but stalls will be paid for the day of the event.
ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 7:00pm, PST
Saturday Morning: In-Hand event obstacles are completed dismounted. You may be saddled, halters with leads are recommended. All non-riding equines are welcome to compete.
Saturday Afternoon: Obstacle Course is a mounted event in an area/field. A saddle (treeless included) and headstall with reins are required. All riding disciplines are welcome.
There is a variety of terrain throughout the property. The facility has gravel roads throughout. The arena has sand footing. The trails have dirt, mixed gravel, wooded area, and lots of trees.
FEES:
Obstacle Course: $24-$44
In Hand: $24-$44
Continental Breakfast: $5 donation
Lunch: $8 donation for beef chili and chicken enchilada chili with chips and drinks
In addition to the registration fee paid to ETS, a $10 facility fee will be collected the day of the event to support the ranch.
Awards:
1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced
1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17)
1st-3rd place Youngin’ (age 7-12) and
1st place Newcomer.

Weather permitting we will giving all of our horses a bath at Princess Tonya’s house. Bring all of your shampoo and brushes.

Let’s get together at Milo McIver State Park and ride the trails. Plan to meet at the park at 11:00.
Day use fee is $5, unless you have a State Park Pass. Feel free to pack a lunch and we can eat and visit before heading back home.

We will be helping host the Western Themed Summer School kick off by bringing horses for the horse kissing booth and for the students to see. Please wear 40 Something Cowgirl attire.

We are making Helhats so bring your helmet, straw cowboy hat that can be cut apart, and your creative ideas.

This is an event sponsored by Territorial Riders Oregon City Chapter of Backcountry Horsemen of Oregon.
Bring your digital camera or smart phone and find BIG FOOT!! Compete as an individual or teams of 2-3.
Riders out 9am-11am. The ride route is 2-2 1/2 hrs long. Finish by 2pm. Intervals are intended to control congestion on the trail and prevent a disclosure of a “Big Foot” find. You are in competition with those in front and behind you. There are 3 ways to win. You will be given a raffle ticket at registration AND you will receive one Poker Chip Draw Card included with your registration. You may purchase up to 3 more hands for $5 each.
Riders must return no later than 2pm to turn in their results. Prizes are awarded after 2pm.
Shoes are recommended for horses. Children are encouraged to wear helmets and dogs must be on a leash. (one player per horse).
For lunch, enjoy Brats and Sauerkraut, baked beans, potato and other side salads along with the necessary condiments. Ice water and pink lemonade are provided as well.
Entry Fee: $40 per rider; children 12 and under $20. Cash or Check. Extra Poker Chip hands (maximum 3 extra) $5 each.
Prizes are awarded to individuals or teams with the most points in the hunt, for First, Second, and Third place. Judges decisions are final. There will also be poker chip draws for other wonderful prizes as well as raffle ticket prizes for the 3rd chance drawing if you dont win in the first 2 categories, you may still win a prize.
