Let’s go have a fun night of bingo at Cedar Hollow Winery! This one has a little twist to it….this one is a Christmas in July, White Elephant Bingo night. We will take a wrapped bingo prize. It can be something you have lying around that you plan on donating, a regift, or something new ($10 value). This will be a night of Bourdeaux’s Bingo you don’t want to miss!!
Bingo starts promptly at 6:30pm. Please arrive early to get your seats, get your wine, and order some amazing dinner. Reservations are highly recommended so let us know if you want to join us!

From the classic events of Saddle Bronc , bareback, the fan favorite of bull riding, and the pretty girls & fast horses of barrel racing. Don’t forget the classic timed events of team roping, steer wrestling, and calf roping.
Pre Show events may vary but they usually have mutton busting, teen cash scramble, and the adult cash scramble.
Join in on the fun of the local county fair. From livestock shows to fair food, exhibits, vendors, the carnival and concerts there is a little bit of something for everyone.

The Estacada chapter is attending the ETS Weekend EVENT. Check it out. Let’s fill ‘er up!!
ABOUT THE VENUE: Tamarind Ranch is a 25 acre property that hosts a sand round pen, 72×31 covered area with excellent footing. 15 acres of forested trails are available for trail rides and walks. Self contained/dry camping is allowed. Personal portable corrals are acceptable and can be set up near your campsites. We offer boarding that includes 5 stalls and 5 paddocks and 1 medical bay stall and pasture board. In addition to the registration fee paid to ETS a $10 facility fee will be collected the day of the event to support the ranch.
EVENT DETAILS: This 2 day event challenge will consist of 3 events: In hand, Obstacle Trail, and Trail Challenge.
Rentals for stalls and dry camping are available and should be reserved when you register. 5- 12×12 stalls, 5- 12×18 paddocks (not covered). 15 dry camping spots. Personal portable corrals are acceptable and can be set up near your campsites.
SCHEDULE: FRIDAY: Gates open on Friday 3:00-8:00pm.; 1:00pm Early arrival check in for camping set up; 6:00pm Pizza & salad dinner will be available. SATURDAY: 7-8:30am NEW ARRIVAL CHECK IN; 9am Rider Meeting. SUNDAY: 7-8:30am NEW ARRIVAL CHECK IN; 9am Rider Meeting.
SATURDAY MORNING: In hand: the event obstacles are completed dismounted. You may be saddled, halters with leads are recommended. All non-riding equines are welcome and encouraged to compete! With at least 8 obstacles in the event.
SATURDAY AFTERNOON: Obstacle Trail: Any combination of pasture, arena, and trail (2-4 miles) with at least 8 obstacles. Multiple horses per rider may be allowed at host discretion. Please verify with the Event Manager to see if their schedule will allow for multiple horses.
SUNDAY MORNING: Trail Challenge- A relaxing trail ride with judged obstacles placed in camp and on trail. Ride at a leisurely pace with friends and family. Enjoy the sites as you improve your horsemanship skills. With at least 6 or more obstacles along the trail. One horse and rider per event. This event will take place at Jamestown/Three Beats Farm across the street from Tamarind Ranch.
THE TERRAIN: There is a variety of terrain throughout the property.

Staci and her husband, Hud, has offered a day of saddle fitting. Hud will go over general fit information for everyone and take questions. You may bring a horse for fitting, with either their stock (Purchase is not required or expected. They are doing this for informational/teaching purposes not sales) or you may get advice on a concern with the fit of your current saddle. Hud can work with individuals after the main presentation. If you plan to bring a horse, please let Staci know in advance so that they will know how many to expect. There is limited parking so maybe even plan to carpool if you can. Wells Performance Horsemanship and Whispering Oaks Farm & Ranch are opening up the above dates to offer mini clinics aiming to get out of the Texas sun!! Start is 6pm and running to 9pm… you can ride for 1 hour, 2 hours, or stay for all 3! Nathan will provide instruction on various topics including warm-up Drills, Transitions, Lead Changes, Trail Obstacles, and Ranch Classes for the Show pen and more. Its that time of year again, its the North Texas State Fair & Rodeo. We will be participating in the parade on Saturday August 17th. We will park along Bryan street near First Denton Church at 7:30am. Parade line up is at 9am.

- Straw/ palm leaf hats

We do ask that you please bring a dish to share whether it be a fruit or veggie tray or some sort of dessert or finger foods. Also bring your drinks of choice and bring towels.
This will also be open to bringing your family members if you like, but again please let us know who all will be coming.

East Texas Stock Horse Show! Come out and show off your skills and horsemanship. East Texas Stock Horse Association has continued to provide an excellent show series and trainers. This has provided our COWGIRLS with great information and examples in the Stock Horse show pen. Come out and support your fellow COWGIRLS as they show off their skills and horsemanship!
As with any competition, interest grows and our COWGIRLS are honing their skills. Come out and cheer on our fellow COWGIRLS or participate in this great Association. Join us for a fun filled weekend. Pick your events and competition level and show off what your skills. Monthly clinics are held the Friday before the Show weekend, so make sure you attend to learn what the judges are looking for at that weekend show.

Bring your digital camera or smart phone and find the top surveyed answers to questions to chose from along the trail. Compete as an individual.
Riders out at 9-11 am. Riders will leave in intervals and Ride route is 2 -2 1/2 hours long. Finish by 2pm. Intervals intended to control congestion on the trails.
Riders must return to later than 2pm to turn in their results. Prizes awarded after 2pm.
Bring your lunch; lemonade, water and treats provided.
Shoes for horses are recommended. Children are encouraged to wear helmets and dogs must be on a leash.
Entry Fees: $30 per rider; under 12 years of age $10. cash or check. Day use park parking fee is $5; or purchase an annual permit. *Join OET at this event with the purchase of a single or family membership and recieve one free entry to this event. (Memberships will include 2025; annual memberships are: single $30, family $35).
Prizes Awarded: For individuals with the most points awarded in the Survey, for First, Second, and Third Place. Judges decisions are final. There will also be raffle prizes. Each entrant receives a raffle ticket for this drawing.

Come out and listen to what the Collin County Sherrif’s Posse has to say about what they do and what their purpose is. Requirement is: know how to ride, must have own horse. Meeting will be at the Blue Ridge Riding Club Arena.
Come out and join us after the Collin County Mounted Patrol Safety Meeting at Charlie’s in Farmersville. They have always been very accommodating to our large groups we bring in. There should be plenty of parking in the area.

Jim welcomes both western & english riders. Whether your horse is under saddle or still in the ground work stages of training, Jim is very well versatile and knowledgeable.
Come prepared to answer the question, “What do you want to learn/work on?” Jim wants to help you with your goals and that is why he does one hour one-on-one sessions.
A one hour session with your horse is $160.
If you chose not to bring a horse there is a $25 per day audit fee. Clinic participants are welcome to audit all riders sessions at no additional charge.
Sessions start at 9am and go until 5pm, with a one hour lunch break from noon to 1pm.
Participants must prepay in advance to reserve their spot.
Friday Hours: 9am – 6pm
Sat & Sun Hours: 8am-6pm
Come join us for dinner and a time to discuss upcoming events. This meeting will be a great time to brainstorm the Harvest Obstacle Course fundraiser we would like to have. Please come with your thinking hats on. Bring along other ideas of things you would like to do as a group! Remember, it can be anything–doesn’t have to include the horses.
Also, ya might want to bring cash for the raffle drawing. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.
