Join us for a fun night of Ranch Sorting Practice at Longhorn Arena in Greenville, TX
Beginner rider and/or horse friendly! Come introduce your horse to cattle! Sorting Practice $50 for the night.
Open arena riding also available for $30 for the night.
Queen Jen is from the Pecos area and this is a favorite of hers.

Looking forward to seeing everybody and catching up as we just enjoy each other’s company! Had to change the original date from Jun to Jul as there wasn’t enough participation indicated. Please let us know if you will be attending by annotating the going button under the event OR annotating you can’t make it in the comments area for this event…Just want to have a good crowd there so all can be informed on what’s happening in our Chapter and catch up – as it’s been a while! Am possibly looking at setting up a certain date for every other month so as to get the most participation possible! Thanks!

Come join us on Jul 20th (Saturday) at 9:00 for a ride over at Maynard’s Mill. It is such a beautiful farm filled with beautiful trails. Cost has gone up to $15 which you must leave in the barn before unloading. Always have proof of coggins in case it’s needed. Please be aware there are still two bridges out of commission, but many other trails to choose from. Looking forward to seeing everybody as it’s been a while! Bring a lunch and eat while we have a short meeting under the trees after our ride. Thanks!

Come join us on Jul 27th at 9:00 over at Charlie Elliott for a beautiful ride on the 5.6 multi-use trail as we meander thru the beautiful woods and enjoy each other’s company!
Ride out at 8 am
Ride is from Gezdaner Park to Lions Park and back
Come join us at the Ocmulgee Bluffs for a mid-week morning ride on Wednesday, July 31st at 9:00.
This area is a beautiful place to ride. Directions are as follows:
From Forsyth take Highway 83 north east towards Monticello. Will cross the Ocmulgee River, and a few miles down, will go past the Enon Baptist Church on your left. Will see a big Ocmulgee Bluffs sign on your right where you turn left onto Smith Mill Rd after seeing the sign. There is a black horse sign with the words Saddle Horse Club written on it on your left as you turn in. Road is not in the best of shape and narrow, so take it nice and slow. After 2-3 ? miles, you’ll see the Saddle Horse Campground on your right and on your left, will be the entrance to the Bluffs where you pay and can park.
If you haven’t joined us in a while, please come on out for a good day to ride with some wonderful cowgirls!

Afterwards, we’ll venture out and get us a bite to eat at Rooster’s Inn in Mansfield approximately 4-5 miles from Charlie Elliott. Restaurant is located at 3069 Highway 11S, Mansfield GA 30055. We will park in the church parking lot across the street, so we’ll be able to see our trailers as we eat. Hope many can join us for a nice outing!

NOTE: If coming from Monticello on Highway 83 towards Forsyth heading West, you’ll see the black horse sign with the words Saddle Horse Club written on it on your right as you turn in. If you see the Enon Baptist Church on your right, you’ve gone too far. Probably best to turn around there in the parking lot and head back east where you will see the Ocmulgee Bluffs sign on your right and turn left on Smith Mill Rd.
