Some days we just need a Cowgirl break in the middle of the week! Let’s get together for a quick lunch a few laughs.
Time to get together, eat some yummy food and talk about what our chapter is doing! whether you are a new member, belong to another chapter or interested in joining we would love to see you! Will have a raffle item, bring some cash.
Come ride the Molalla Corridor Saturday, we’ll be meeting in the parking area at Hardy Creek Trail Head at 10:30am.
Let’s have fun with the horses on some obstacles. The church is going to have 3 events, 2 practices and the one in April will be a patterned jackpot format. The flyer can be found on Brazos Trails FB page or Poolville Chapter page.
We will be attending a trail ride organized by BTCC at Six O Ranch. Ride out is at 11, usually ride 3ish hours here.

We will be attending the bull riding event at the Ector County Coliseum tickets can be purchased through etix.com
Sunday Afternoon ride at the Grasslands! Changing things up and starting from the Valley View trailhead to see the other side of the Grasslands. Charges for parking in the camping area.
Let’s gather up and see what great ideas we can come up with to plan some rides and / or activities for the month.
March is going to be a busy month, lets kick it off with our monthly round-up. Join us at 6:30pm for snacks and catching up, meeting will start at 7:15pm.
Annual Wine and Food Classic will have some of your returning favorites and some new producers, including 50+ of the regions best wineries, chefs, bakers, breweries, distilleries, artists, artisans and musicians. All proceeds go to support children’s education.
To those of us who have volunteered or want to volunteer for the St Paul Rodeo, there will be a short informational meeting March 9th @ 10am.
Night of Bunco! Dana will be preparing corned beef and cabbage, please bring a side dish, RSVP is a must

The cowgirl annual bake sale to raise money for our t-shirt sale for Autism Awareness. There will be lots of goodies and maybe even a few non food items. Come out and support us, supporting a special cause.

Candi Jean will be here on March 30th for a boot fitting clinic. Candi Jean will be fitting Scoot Boots and Easy Care Boots, for the best fitting horses should be trimmed 2 weeks prior. There will also be a ferrier to do a quick trim for an additional fee. Please call or text Julie @ 503-314-3444 for a time slot.

It is Bluebonnet time in Texas and this ranch never disappoints! Let’s go take a ride and test our sense of adventure while checking out the beautiful landscape that the bluebonnets always create. Bring a lunch with you and we’ll take a picnic along the way.
The owner typically meets us to check Coggins, get release form signed and collect fees.
“Bust a Nut” is a fundraiser event to benefit 5150 Rescue Farm. Come have drinks, listen to Heidi’s stories, hang out with friends, and look at some great art. Drinks will be served from a converted horse trailer. More details as she posts the latest on the event.
Purpose of the fundraiser: 5150 farm was surrendered a bunch of Guinea pigs that need to be neutered.
Heidi and 5150 Farms rescues animals of all types, like the pig that caused an uproar locally. All animals are cared for and get vet treatments. Some will find their forever home on the farm and others are able to get adopted.
We can also hit up the Cantina for Mexican food and drinks after to keep the laughs going.
Get ready to chase some cows in Midland! Time and entry will be determined, but save the date. The venue will be the Broken Horn in Midland.

We love our horses but sometimes it is good to just hang out! Time for bowling, fun and laughs with each other. Even if you don’t want to bowl Film Alley offers other things, or just hang out and laugh at(I mean with) us!
We love to ride and this weather is great for a Sunday afternoon ride! The park entry fee is $7. Meet at the Cross Timbers trail head, ride out at 2. The trail is 7ish miles, so typically a 2 hour ride.

Come join us for a meet and greet! Shep’s has a great atmosphere. The weather should be perfect to eat out on the patio. Lots of good options here, the hamburgers definitely do not disappoint! We can always stay after the meal and play some pool!

Our new 40 Something Cowgirl (volunteer) hats will be here soon. We would like to get a photo of the volunteers in their cute new hats, Corporate would like to see all your pretty faces.
This is a great way to support small business and some great hard working ladies. This will be the 3rd Cowhides and Cocktails Fashion Show, there will be 5 local small business boutiques. They will have 30+ new and exclusive fashion that is only available at the fashion show. A night filled with signature cocktails, charcuterie, dessert and shopping with you girls. We will start at 10am, then take a break and will then have a Round Robin. Will need 14 for the clinic to make
Come out as Queen Jen gets some free “labor” out of us. We will gather the cattle and work them this day. Make sure you bring something to drink and maybe a snack or two.
This is a trail challenge that will take approximately 2 1/2 hours with 10 to 15 mostly natural obstacles. Entry fee for judging and prizes is $50 each day, $30 to just do the ride. For further info and sign up information see Rockin’ RJ Facebook page
