Meet at New Ingles Parking lot, then caravan over to Cataloochee Valley. Meet at Cataloochee Parking area by 10am . recommend shoes or boots for trails, some are rocky, believe there are water crossings. Vickie is going to show us the trails. Bring water, snacks, and lunch. I do not know length of trails.

The fall market at Margie‘s is a fun today event featuring over 50 vendors of antiques vintage repurposed and Handcrafted. We also have fall fest type activities to entertain the whole family. Food drinks, shopping, and fun all in one place
Meet at Towstring horse parking area at 9:30 – There are several options to ride long and short rides. Recommend shoes or boots. There are numerous watering holes and crossings. Bring snacks, lunch, and a lot of water. Riders can go up to Steel Bridge/Cabin Flats and back, or others can go up to Grassy Flats or higher up to Charlie Bunion or wherever they want to stop and return down the mountain.
Calling all Cowgirls…. Come join us for the final Long Ear Benefit ride. This will be the final trail ride that benefits the Ben Richey Boys Ranch in memory of the founder, Bob Grice.. It’s all primatve camping, but there is water troughs for horse, port-a-potties and showers for humans. 3 hot chuck wagon style meals served on Saturday with an auction Saturday evening. Sunday morning breakfast and worship services for anyone wanting to attend. All are welcomed, and encouraged to attend. It’s 60 dollars at the gate, and that covers your meals, coffee, and entry fees in any “games” going on. Please contact Luann Grimes at” 325-207-2509 so she can get an accurate head count…
Tsali Recreational Arena – Trail Ride Left Loops. Remember you have to pay for daily parking online or in an envelope at the Kiosk. Bring plenty of snacks and water for a full day of fun and riding. Meet at large parking area at boat ramp. You can bring trail dogs to Tsali
Halloween Trail Obstacle Play Day – Ridets and horses are encouraged to dress up in costumes and compete in a costume contest, practice & compete on my mountain trail obstacle course. Teams will have to participate in maneuvering through the obstacles cool, calm & collected.
$10 donation to participate and money goes into our cowgirls fund
Meet at Whetstone parking area at 10:00, we’ll saddle up ride out to Adeline and possibly cross river if super low, if not we’ll make loop and go out through Spring house, climb the ridge and head back to parking area. 5 to 6 hr ride so bring food, lunch, snacks, and a lot of water. Trails are easy to moderate in difficulty.

The annual community tack sale returns
They’re about 20 visitors already coming with a large variety of items. It should be a good one. Don’t miss out if you’re interested in getting a table the cost is $10 and you will need to contact Jay Fisher on private messenger
