Time to start riding, cowgirls! We have a team for the 2024 Virtual Tevis Cup ! To get on the roster, we need your name, current 40SC member number and the bib number assigned to you through the sign up link below, in addition to the total mileage ridden. If you do not have a horse, you can also participate by walking/ running the 100 miles.
You can screen shot the app with your mileage, in addition to the sign up response with your bib number. There will be one roster for this event!

Franklin cowgirls meet at Ingles in Clayton at 9am, and Georgia & SC Cowgirls meet at 10:30 at forest 92E – come in on Cannon Road off Hwy 80 turn right on first forest road on right go down turn around on loop and line up heading outward for pairking,
Secret Waterfall trail is outside the borders of the Chattahoochee – Oconee National Forest on private land which they allow hiking and horse back riding out to enjoy the beautiful beach and waterfall. We have to pack in our lunch and drinks, and pack them back out. We wil have lunch and a picnic, play in the water and swim with our horses, so bring a sheet to put down to place your tack on it to avoid getting covered in sand. Bring shorts and bathing suits and water shoes. Dogs are allowed on these trails. Also bring horse snacks and doggie snacks.
We ride out at 11:00 weather permitting. Lunch after at Cooper BBQ. This is a very easy trail.

Come ride this beautiful Ranch in Glen Rose and explore the amazing Twin Falls Trail. It is magical.
Macon County Horse Association meeting. The Board meeting will start at 6pm, then the general meeting begins at 7 pm, all cowgirl members will meet at the Alumni building
Tsali Recreational Arena – Trail Ride Right and Left Loops. Remember you have to pay for daily parking online or in an envelope at the Kiosk. Bring plenty of snacks and water for a full day of fun and riding. Meet at large parking area at boat ramp. You can bring trail dogs to Tsali
Come and join us for our Wednesday ride at Mineral Wells State Park just EAST of downtown Mineral Wells. Not Weatherford, 180 & 71. We ride out at 11:00. Hope to see you there.

Franklin Cowgirls – Line dancing classes to raise money for Otto Fire Department. Meet at 6:15pm at the Otto Fire Station, Down in Ottoi off Georgia Rd. Bring $5 dollars required donation. Meet at day parking area and ride out to Adeline or Earl’s Ford and then weave through the trails on South Carolina Side and return to parking area in the afternoon. Bring food, snacks, and plenty of water to drink. Trail dogs allowed on the trails
Have your Coggins. This trail is a little rocky and we get to cross the river. Very pretty. Come join us. We ride out at 11:00
Darnell Farm – Meet at 12:00 pm – have a May round-up meeting. Discuss additional trail rides, donations, and sponsors. Enjoy afternoon music, fellowship, friendship, and Dream Whips

Meet at Tow String parking Area – Requires a day parking pass or a yearly pass for the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We will ride out Bradley Creek, cross the creek/steel bridge and head up to Cabin Flats Primitive Horse Camp. Some may go on up to reach the top of 5600+ft to the junction of the Appalachian trail to go out on the rock outcropping of Charlie’s Bunion; it is one of the most spectacular views in the park. The trail is challenging and requires a slow and steady pace. Bring saddle bags with plenty of food, water, and snacks. The Cabin Flats group can enjoy a beautiful meadow alongside the creek to enjoy lunch before heading back out. The Charlie’s Bunion trip is roughly a 21.5 mile round trip distance, and the cabin flats distance is about 13 to 15 miles round trip. Recommend shows on all four hooves. No trail dogs allowed in GSMNP

Come join us as we assist Rutledge clients enjoy the benefits of equine therapy. We will not be riding, but will be assisting young adults who are undergoing cancer treatments. Whether riding the trails or grooming horses, we need cowgirls there to help.
Patients will book through Rutledge at the direction of their medical advisers.

GSMNP – Meet at the paved parking area before the tunnel parking area at 10 am. Must have yearly or daily GSMNP parking pass. We will ride out White Oak and connect up to Bear Creek Trail, ride to the top and intersect with Welch Ridge trail, eat lunch, and either follow around to Forney Creek or return down Bear Creek. Bring plenty of water, food, and horsey snacks. No trail dogs allowed

Hello yall, On July 6th, 2024, the Banales family is having their annual memorial trail ride in Springtown, TX. All are welcome. The ride is approximately 7 miles long and starts at 10:00 am from the front gate of The trail ride travels down Chaparral Ln. Right turn onto J.E.. Woody to right on Prather. Right turn on to Goshon Rd. Right on Fletcher on to private property to the back gate of 199 W. Jake St.(or where199 W. Jake Street in Springtown, TX. the starting point was.) A live band will travel with us on the trail ride. Party with a live band after the trail ride. This event is growing bigger better each year. Bring you horse or riding club and come join us. We are headed on vacation with our horses. Trail rides all weekend! There are hook ups for LQ trailers and room in the house if you don’t have a trailer to sleep in! Space is limited, so let us know if want in!

Cowhand challenge!(sorting, penning, etc). All proceeds go to Rutledge Cancer Foundation! We will have a chuck wagon lunch available for purchase . This event is a benefit. Cowgirls only will have buckles to the winning team. The open division will have a payout. 4 man teams. Pre registration is encouraged and there will be a $50. Plan on a silent auction and some 50/50 poker draws (bring cash). Sign up link to follow.

We love the stock show and Rodeo, we practically live there! If you go, take a selfie and we will add you to the roster. Specifically, we will do the following events:

Grand Entry 1/Rutledge at 11 am performance arrive by 9:00 with long sleeve white shirt, black vest.
Grand Entry 1/Military Appreciation night- black vest and white shirt- we will provide red bandannas

***GE walkover with police escort is 1 hour prior to performance
*** all performances need pink wraps on front legs and pink wild rag unless otherwise stated.

you must have a physical copy of both your coggins and a health certificate to get your horse on the FWSSR grounds. No exceptions. They will not accept a coggins from your phone.
