Annual trail ride fundraiser by Equine Community Resources to provide lost cost gelding assistance. This event is our most fun ride of the year. Beautiful/stunning views!!
Saturday is a 10-mile obstacle trail challenge with awesome prizes. Sunday is an easy fun poker ride with many more prizes.
BBQ and raffles available both days.
Three Jackpot Classes will run concurrent with regular Show Classes. Come out and make a day of watching and learning!!

We are going to do something a little different……Today is the 1st day of Fall so we are going to say goodbye to summer and start the Fall season off right by having one last pool party at Cowgirl Kelly’s house. We will also include our monthly meeting this day. Rsvp Christy at 469-682-6207 for address for we do not publicize personal addresses on public events.
Bring a dish to share along with whatever drink you would like to have. Also bring your towel and maybe even your own folding chair. Hope to see you all there!
Another great opportunity to compete and watch some great horses at the Stock Horse of Texas – Aggieland Classic, Clinic, and Derby!! Join us if you can. Come out and have breakfast with us before we gas up and head out to T Bar S Horse camp.

We pack up and head to TBarS on October 3rd!! This is one of our favorite places to camp! If you haven’t made it a point to go, you really should. We normally have so many going that we reserve the entire campsite. However, this year there were only 10 spots available out of the 16 and I believe we have filled those already. So, if you want to join us let us know and we can see if we can add you to our campsite or see if they had someone back out on their reservations.
We usually try to caravan so we will make plans for that the closer we get.

Join us for our 3rd Annual trip to the Cattleman’s Classic @ Ribeye Roundup! Great fun to watch the Cook-Off and great food to enjoy after! Proceeds of the event will benefit to NETBIO – The Northeast Texas Beef Improvement Organization (NETBIO) is a group of independent cow/calf producers and agribusiness representatives working together to enhance the beef industry in Northeast Texas. NETBIO works in conjunction with the Texas A&M- Commerce and the AgriLife Office in Sulphur Springs.

The public is invited to come play on the posse’s trail course with prizes for the best costume (awarded at NOON).

This sounds like so much fun!! Their costume contest will have multiple categories which will include but not limited to a couples/duo category. It would be fun to maybe come up with a group idea and blow them away with it!! Let’s take home the win!

We are planning a Halloween Costume Parade Practice in the neighborhood of Whispering Oaks Farm & Ranch!! Our purpose is two-fold… to discuss Standard Parade Requirements, and to have some FUN while exposing all horses to parade activities!! After you turn from Hwy 1529, look for the 40SC Banner and turn right into the large Outdoor Arena entrance. Come early, be ready to ride out, and start our Parade Discussion by 10:00AM sharp. Then, we will ride out on Parade Route at 11:00AM. Please, no delays and lack of preparation. We want to see you in your best Costume and full attire! We are planning to have neighbors judge all entries!! WE WILL HAVE PRIZES!! And probably go afterward into Cooper for late lunch!?

We will be participating, again, in the 2nd Annual Horse EXPO at Longhorn Arena in Greenville, TX. This Expo event will include Horse Products Vendors, Sale Horse Alley, Food Vendors, Demonstrations, New & Used Tack, Stallion Exhibits, and Horse Health. Farmersville will have a booth and represent 40 Something Cowgirls!! We will also attend and participate in EXPO Demonstrations. The 2023 1st Annual EXPO was a huge success for our Chapter!! Join us for the Wylie Christmas Parade! Let’s show our Christmas spirit and decorate our horses! We will be parking in the vacant grassy lot off of Birmingham st. We NEED designated manure scoopers for the parade. We also will need a volunteer to carry our chapter banner.
