Come out and enjoy watching some amazing people from the Rustic Farm group put on a de-spook clinic. All spaces for the actual clinic are taken, but it will be a fun time to watch. All Cowgirls are welcomed and needed to be on the ground to help where needed. Cowgirl gear please. BYOB, a snack, and a lawn chair if wanted.
GSMNP – Meet at the paved parking area before the tunnel parking area at 10 am. Must have yearly or daily GSMNP parking pass. We will ride out White Oak and connect up to Bear Creek Trail, ride to the top and intersect with Welch Ridge trail, eat lunch, and either follow around to Forney Creek or return down Bear Creek. Bring plenty of water, food, and horsey snacks. No trail dogs allowed
Hey Belton cowgirls! We’re having a “just for fun” horse show at Tammy Farmer’s farm. There will be prizes and food and fun! You’re welcome to camp for the night if you want to visit or ride on Sunday. 131 Brock Rd Honea Path, SC.

This is a focused Clinic for Ranch Rail, Ranch Pleasure, and Ranch Riding! Nathan Wells will work you through some ground time and saddle time. Requirements for this Clinic participation is the ability to walk, trot, and lope your horse. His training will be provide a breakdown of each Class and the best approach to the completed the Class. This will help the confidence of beginners as well as experienced rider!! Limited space for six (6) riders. Audit is $20 per person. Meet at Hurricane Creek Parking Area at 10am, and we will ride out across creek jump on Big Indian Trail. Bring your chainsaws and hand saws. This will be first ride since winter storms. Bring saddles with water and food.

Tsali Recreational Arena – Trail Ride Right and Left Loops. Remember you have to pay for daily parking online or in an envelope at the Kiosk. Bring plenty of snacks and water for a full day of fun and riding. Meet at large parking area at boat ramp. You can bring trail dogs to Tsali

Everyone needs to go join in on the 90th year celebration of the Cowboy Rodeo and Reunion. Its always a great show of athletes, music, and people. This year they will have Aaron Watson and Kevin Fowler playing after the rodeo. You can check out their facebook page for all the details, too many to list here… If you go, just snap a photo of you there and send it to me. All are welcomed and encouraged to go..
Let’s ride…. Time to celebrate the 90th year Cowboy Rodeo and Reunion with a fun parade. We will meet at the parking lot on East 11th place and Johnson st. We will stage at 9am at the corner of 10th and Main. Parade is to start at 10am. Full parade gear, straw hats, pinks long sleeve button downs, polo wraps… Nice jeans please. We will have a truck to decorate, and for anyone to ride in who would like to. All Cowgirls welcome…
Macon County Horse Association Spring Fun Show. 10 a.m. at Fairgrounds. There will be all the normal fun show activities plus speed events. Come out and play with your horses and challenge yourself with these fun games. There will be a concession stand with food & drinks so remember to bring cash. I would suggest lawn chairs, coolers with water & drink, snacks, and plenty of stuffed hay bags. You can even bring pop-up shade tents.. contact me or Lynda for info and/or directions. If you need a ride and pick up your horse let us know.
The weather should be good and hot, time for a dip in a pool. Bring a favorite snack and beverage Rhonda is making lunch. Please contact Rhonda if you plan to attend. We will have a brief meeting and prospective members are welcome.
Meet at Tow String parking Area – Requires a day parking pass or a yearly pass for the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We will ride out Bradley Creek, cross the creek/steel bridge and head up to Cabin Flats Primitive Horse Camp. Some may go on up to reach the top of 5600+ft to the junction of the Appalachian trail to go out on the rock outcropping of Charlie’s Bunion; it is one of the most spectacular views in the park. The trail is challenging and requires a slow and steady pace. Bring saddle bags with plenty of food, water, and snacks. The Cabin Flats group can enjoy a beautiful meadow alongside the creek to enjoy lunch before heading back out. The Charlie’s Bunion trip is roughly a 21.5 mile round trip distance, and the cabin flats distance is about 13 to 15 miles round trip. Recommend shows on all four hooves. No trail dogs allowed in GSMNP

Playday Series dates include March 2 & 16, April 6 & 27, May 11 & 25, and June 15 & 29. High point Buckles will be given for each age group! **MUST ATTEND 6 OUT OF 8 PLAYDAYS IN THE SERIES TO QUALIFY FOR END OF SERIES AWARDS.**
Cost is $10 per Class or $40 for 5 Classes. Payment due in Cash or Zelle.
We coined the phrase “Tramping” several years ago and it stuck… for a scheduled Trail and Camping Event! Plans now to be made for your Trail Riding week(end) or just a Vacation week(end). Linda is very familiar with the area and all the amenities. Shopping, Horse Races, Dining & Wining, as well as primitive camping. Bring your LQ, RV or Toy-Hauler! Come join our chapter at the amazing Gillespie Ranch in New Mexico. This is a true working cattle ranch sitting on 30,000 acres in the Lincoln Nation Forrest. There are limited spots available, so make reservations as soon as possible. Full hook ups with covered stalls. Yes, it’s in July, but bring a sweater or hoodie, you are in some higher elevations… Trails for all levels of riders…. All Cowgirls are welcome…

Yee haw its fall fling time! We have the entire campground reserved for our fling. 17 sites with electric. Plenty of room for primitive camping. We’ll ride out at 10 on Saturday. Potluck dinner /meeting games Saturday night by campfire. Let’s ride and party! Bring prospects too! Negative coggins required.
We will be participating, again, in the 2nd Annual Horse EXPO at Longhorn Arena in Greenville, TX. This Expo event will include Horse Products Vendors, Sale Horse Alley, Food Vendors, Demonstrations, New & Used Tack, Stallion Exhibits, and Horse Health. Farmersville will have a booth and represent 40 Something Cowgirls!! We will also attend and participate in EXPO Demonstrations. The 2023 1st Annual EXPO was a huge success for our Chapter!! MORE details to come in the next year! Stay Tuned!!
And in final summary, our participating Members will wrap up their competition 2024 year back at Henderson County Fair Grounds in Athens!!! Come out and cheer them on! Your appearance and support is greatly appreciated!
