Key Sheep Springs Horse Camp Regulations
- Bring only weed-free certified hay. (No local forage available.)
- Horses must be kept in stalls provided, and may not be tethered or picketed outside of stalls.
- Quiet Hours extend from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Prevent the spread of invasive pests by obtaining firewood locally.
- Fires are only permitted in designated fire receptacles and must be attended. Fires must be extinguished upon departure.
- Pets must be kept on leash and attended at all times.
- Secure food and scented items from bears.

This easy to moderately difficult 30+ mile loop trails begins in Kings Mountain State Park and circles into Kings Mountain National Military Park, the site of a famous Revolutionary War battle. The surface is primarily flat with some rocky areas and some clay spots. A local saddle club takes care to watch over the trails and ensure solid footing on some of the ridge climbs. Boots or shoes recommended.

Join us for at Tryon International Equestrian Center for a night of fun to cheer on the horses and riders as they soar over massive jumps and race through the timers. We could all carpool or caravan and meet early for dinner, arrive before 4:00 for free parking. The event is FREE, only fee looks parking after 4:00. Lots of food options and shopping!! Cost is $100 for Teeth/Sheath or if you just need Sheath it’s $30. Please bring CASH or CHECK for payment, as well as some extra cash for our Boot for our two charities! We are keeping this a MEMBERS only event, unless we can’t fill all our time slots. So if you have a friend that needs this service, let Joelle know so we can put them on our reserve list.

Float the Green River in Saluda, NC
Let’s stay cool floating the Green River at 5200 Green River Cove Rd.,Saluda, NC. We will carpool there and arrive there by 10:00 to start our adventure. After our float which takes about 2-3 hours, we can have lunch in the cute town of Saluda or at the Tryon Equestrian Center!

Each day, participants will receive 2 one on one sessions with their horse. Due to the individualized teaching, they welcome participants of all skill levels. Their niche is liberty and bridleless riding, but participants are welcome to use their sessions as they’d like.
This clinic will end with liberty games Sunday Afternoon!

Balloons start lifting off around 6:45 a.m. (don’t miss it!)
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday balloons lift off from the fields at the south end of Timber Linn Park, weather permitting.
Night Glow (Friday ONLY)
The Friday Night Glow is full of joy and amazement for the entire family: brilliantly-colored balloons tower over the crowd, lighting up the night sky.
Half a dozen balloons participate in one of the Festival’s most popular events, the Night Glow on Friday only at dusk, weather permitting. Balloon pilots and crews set up the colorful fabric envelopes in open area on the east side of Timber-Linn Park, inflate them with hot air while tethered to the ground, and illuminate them in a series of patterns.
Please understand that weather makes a big difference on how the timing of the Night Glow will go. Depending on wind, the balloons might not be able to inflate for very long. Usually luck out and the winds cooperate but it is in mother natures hands.
Seating area opens at 1pm to put blankets and chairs down.
Please note: The night glow happens on Friday night only. (weather permitting)

Owners Tom and Pat Seay open their home and land for a unique cattle experience. Experienced or novice welcome, you will be guided and mentored by experienced cattle driving and team penning staff.
Lots of history at this old farm, you will want to have this kind of fun without having to go west. The most awesome thing is you bring your own horse.

Join us as at this fun ride to help AN Issa Anderson raise money to be donated at the AHA (American Heart Association Ride). Day ride or overnight camping available, with some electric hook ups. Cost is $40 for the weekend, plus $10 per day. Stalls are available for $10 per day for smaller stalls and $15 per day for larger paddocks. Attendance for just Saturday is $30 per person. So much fun to be had at Manchester Trail Riders twice a year Event, that raises funds for their care of the trails and campground. The fall event features food, DJ, a band and of course Halloween (trick or treat) for the kiddos, the children are taken around the campground via tractor and trailer. All of us Cowgirls usually dress up for the Saturday trail ride too! Water and power at each site. Minimal stalls available, but plenty of areas to high line or set up portable corrals. Bathhouse on site!

ACC Christmas Bazaar 2024 will be FRIDAY, November 15th, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm AND SATURDAY, November 16th 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Friday night will be Ladies Night! Come with your friends and get first picks of all the wonderful treasures their vendors have to offer! Tickets will be sold online or at the door.
For Friday night only, there will be free appys and non-alcoholic drinks, large value raffle prizes available only for Friday attenders that will be raffled off that evening. Along with their regular raffle area, special offers and little bit of swag and so much fun!
Tickets will be $8 online or $10 at the door and online special only of 4 tickets for $25!
Saturday’s event will be no charge!
There will have around 90 vendors offering a huge variety of high quality treasures.
There will be delicious breakfast and lunch offered, along with a huge bake sale, fabulous raffle area and their coffee bar.
