We will be invading the Lazy TK for the weekend for our chapter retreat.. This is an exclusive chapter event…
Friday night 6-9 PM practice to prepare for the event on Saturday. You do not have to participate in the event to come and practice with us! $35 and no membership required to participate.

Let’s go to the play! Liberty Mountain, the Revolutionary Drama at the Joy Theater in Kings Mountain. Dinner before the play to meet up would be great!!

Monthly meeting for the Wind River Back Country Horsemen.
Join us as at this fun ride to help AN Issa Anderson raise money to be donated at the AHA (American Heart Association Ride). Day ride or overnight camping available, with some electric hook ups. Cost is $40 for the weekend, plus $10 per day. Stalls are available for $10 per day for smaller stalls and $15 per day for larger paddocks. Attendance for just Saturday is $30 per person. Saturday night will include a complimentary dinner, as well as a DJ! Bring some cash for the RAFFFLE! For more information, please reach out to Anissa Anderson at (984)248-3265.
Primitive camp for the weekend or come ride just Saturday. Fourteen miles of back roads around Mount Pleasant. There will be live music on Friday night for those camping, as well as a big bonfire and karaoke on Saturday night.
Join us to watch the thrills of a Professional Rodeo presented World Champions Rodeo Alliance at Tryon International Center. Events featured will include Bronc and Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling and Roping as well as Barrel Racing. Event starts at 7:30 and tickets (according to their website) will be going on sale soon. Calling all Cowgirls…. Come join us for the final Long Ear Benefit ride. This will be the final trail ride that benefits the Ben Richey Boys Ranch in memory of the founder, Bob Grice.. It’s all primatve camping, but there is water troughs for horse, port-a-potties and showers for humans. 3 hot chuck wagon style meals served on Saturday with an auction Saturday evening. Sunday morning breakfast and worship services for anyone wanting to attend. All are welcomed, and encouraged to attend. It’s 60 dollars at the gate, and that covers your meals, coffee, and entry fees in any “games” going on. Please contact Luann Grimes at” 325-207-2509 so she can get an accurate head count…

Join us at Leatherman Lane to celebrate horses and help raise money to battle Breast Cancer. Annual event that features various vendors, food, live music and of course horses. There is a planned trail ride!!!!One of our charities we support Cleveland County Hearts and Hooves, will be there to highlight there important work with our awesome participants from North Shelby School, Shelby, NC. Let’s join up with Brazos Trails Cowboy Church for a trail ride at the Grasslands. The ride will start at TADRA, and we will do the yellow trail, roughly 9 miles.
We LOVE Leatherwood and all it has to offer, from trail riding, good food and drinks at their restaurant and now they have zip lining. Camping is available, stalls for your horses and paddocks for turnout. Small bathhouse. They also do home rentals if you prefer that! So much fun to be had at Manchester Trail Riders twice a year Event, that raises funds for their care of the trails and campground. The fall event features food, DJ, a band and of course Halloween (trick or treat) for the kiddos, the children are taken around the campground via tractor and trailer. All of us Cowgirls usually dress up for the Saturday trail ride too! Water and power at each site. Minimal stalls available, but plenty of areas to high line or set up portable corrals. Bathhouse on site!
We will have our Boot for donations to our two charities: Cleveland County Hearts and Hooves & Southern Paws Animal Rescue.
Reservations can be made usually about two months prior to the event.
