♥We Ride out at 10:00.  There is a port-a-potty and water for the horses.  Bring a snack and plenty of water.  We will probably get to swim. This is a very easy, sandy trail in the woods with creek crossings.  Hope to see you there. 1.5-2 rating

Time to get together, eat some yummy food and talk about what our chapter is doing! El Cerrito is a favorite for many! whether you are a new member, belong to another chapter or interested in joining we would love to see you! Will have a raffle item, bring some cash.

Come join us as we assist Rutledge clients enjoy the benefits of equine therapy. We will not be riding, but will be assisting young adults who are undergoing cancer treatments. Whether riding the trails or grooming horses, we need cowgirls there to help.

Patients will book through Rutledge at the direction of their medical advisers.

Friday night 6-9 PM practice to prepare for the event on Saturday. You do not have to participate in the event to come and practice with us! $35 and no membership required to participate.

Let’s go to the play! Liberty Mountain, the Revolutionary Drama at the Joy Theater in Kings Mountain. Dinner before the play to meet up would be great!!

LBJ Grasslands ride.  Approx 9 miles.   Some of the girls may go ride Saturday and spend the night.  You will have to coordinate Saturday on GroupMe.  Sunday’s ride out time is 10:00.  The difficulty level is a 2.5.  Kristin Jaffe will be trail guide Sunday.  She knows LBJ very well.   Her contact info is here.

Monthly meeting for the Wind River Back Country Horsemen.

Cowgirls will be attending the Douglas County Mounted Posse meeting. This is another equestrian group in the area, and we attend so we can also help support their efforts in the horse community here.

Join us as at this fun ride to help AN Issa Anderson raise money to be donated at the AHA (American Heart Association Ride). Day ride or overnight camping available, with some electric hook ups. Cost is $40 for the weekend, plus $10 per day. Stalls are available for $10 per day for smaller stalls and $15 per day for larger paddocks. Attendance for just Saturday is $30 per person. We will having a monthly arena ride in the lower arena at Backen’s . We can work on patterns or whatever we want to come up with. Park in the pasture by the barn and walk or ride down to the arena. You can come and ride as little or as long as you want. The cost will vary from $10-$15 depending on how many of us show up .

Primitive camp for the weekend or come ride just Saturday. Fourteen miles of back roads around Mount Pleasant. There will be live music on Friday night for those camping, as well as a big bonfire and karaoke on Saturday night.

Join us to watch the thrills of a Professional Rodeo presented World Champions Rodeo Alliance at Tryon International Center. Events featured will include Bronc and Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling and Roping as well as Barrel Racing. Event starts at 7:30 and tickets (according to their website) will be going on sale soon. C Bar Ranch is one of our favorite places to go! This is a weekend trip but you can come for a day or stay for the weekend.  You must call Ms Martha to make reservations for a campsite. 254-749-6962 [email protected].  Difficulty level is between a 2 & a 3.  There are lots of trails.  Should make for a very fun weekend.

Monthly trail ride at the North Bank trail  ..this is the trail head by Glide. We will meet at 11 at the parking lot.

Join us for a Bunco party ! Bring a snack to share,dress in costume and come play games . We will be doing some fun drawings too! If you don’t know how to play no problem ..we will teach you and it’s really easy and fun !

We LOVE Leatherwood and all it has to offer, from trail riding, good food and drinks at their restaurant and now they have zip lining. Camping is available, stalls for your horses and paddocks for turnout. Small bathhouse. They also do home rentals if you prefer that! So much fun to be had at Manchester Trail Riders twice a year Event, that raises funds for their care of the trails and campground. The fall event features food, DJ, a band and of course Halloween (trick or treat) for the kiddos, the children are taken around the campground via tractor and trailer. All of us Cowgirls usually dress up for the Saturday trail ride too! Water and power at each site. Minimal stalls available, but plenty of areas to high line or set up portable corrals. Bathhouse on site!
We will have our Boot for donations to our two charities: Cleveland County Hearts and Hooves & Southern Paws Animal Rescue.
Reservations can be made usually about two months prior to the event.
