We have a fun camping trip planned for the beach ! Cowgirls have some sites reserved already and they are in 1&3 Come ride for the day or get a reservation through the state park website reserveamerica.com
We will have 90-minute lesson sessions with Kim White. Cost is $70. She will help you improve your horsemanship skills. She will also discuss the fast-growing class of ranch riding. Focusing on expectations, attire, patterns and transitions. You will leave the lesson with a feeling of accomplishment and have a great time !

We are going to do something a little different……Today is the 1st day of Fall so we are going to say goodbye to summer and start the Fall season off right by having one last pool party at Cowgirl Kelly’s house. We will also include our monthly meeting this day. Rsvp Christy at 469-682-6207 for address for we do not publicize personal addresses on public events.
Bring a dish to share along with whatever drink you would like to have. Also bring your towel and maybe even your own folding chair. Hope to see you all there!
Get together with your cowgirl friends for a night of Mexican Food at Ixtapa Restaurant in Stayton and then go enjoy a fun movie!

Get together with some fun ladies to create some fun crafts for the Holiday Season!

Anyone can participate in this event so if you want to come out and ride let us know. Covered arena, plenty of parking space. If you don’t have anyone to ride with there will be plenty of us there to ride with you. Come on out and give it a try!

$250 a rider/$1000 a team.
Fun time spent with fellow cowgirls and your horse.
Events: (Subject to change) Four Pen, Trailer Load, Calf Brand, 3 Gate Sort, Ranch Sort.
Special Awards For: Iron Cowgirl, Cowgirl With Class, and Ultimate Ranch Horse.

Come meet us at the McKinney Stables off 380 and come get donuts in downtown McKinney.
Meet us at 10:00am and be ready to ride out by 10:30am. We will ride to Donuts R More at 101 N. Mcdonald St. STE 101, McKinney, TX 75069. After donuts, we will ride through downtown McKinney and enjoy the weather and the small town downtown atmosphere.
Cowgirls will be attending the Douglas County Mounted Posse meeting. This is another equestrian group in the area, and we attend so we can also help support their efforts in the horse community here.
Come out and have breakfast with us before we gas up and head out to T Bar S Horse camp.

We pack up and head to TBarS on October 3rd!! This is one of our favorite places to camp! If you haven’t made it a point to go, you really should. We normally have so many going that we reserve the entire campsite. However, this year there were only 10 spots available out of the 16 and I believe we have filled those already. So, if you want to join us let us know and we can see if we can add you to our campsite or see if they had someone back out on their reservations.
We usually try to caravan so we will make plans for that the closer we get.
We will having a monthly arena ride in the lower arena at Backen’s . We can work on patterns or whatever we want to come up with. Park in the pasture by the barn and walk or ride down to the arena. You can come and ride as little or as long as you want. The cost will vary from $10-$15 depending on how many of us show up .

Join us every Saturday, October 5th through March 15th as the greenhouses transform into an Indoor Winter Farmer’s Marketplace.
Vendors have been invited to sell what they make, grow, or raise.
They will have 40+ vendors each week on a rotating schedule to give their customers variety.
Horse of Hope Oregon is excited to welcome the community to come check out their facility, meet the therapy horses, and play games.
Purchase a horseback ride (ages 2-17). Meet the minis!
Carnival-style games, face-painting, raffle prizes and much more.
Food and drinks (including adult beverages for the 21+crowd) will be available for purchase.
Tickets for carnival games can be purchased on-site for $.50 per ticket.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the participants of Horses of Hope, an equine assisted therapy program located in Turner, Oregon.
Come join us for lunch before the drive home. Lots of laughter and good times will be had! This is a Wylie tradition to eat here after our trips to T Bar S Horse Camp.

Bring your ideas to the table for fun things to do with or without our horses. We need to plan our Christmas party, for that will be upon us soon!!
We will also do our raffle for an awesome prize. 1 ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20. If you would like an extra ticket to better your chances with the purchase of your ticket/tickets bring a bag of candy that we will donate to a local cowboy church for their trunk or treat.
