Greg Eliel – Horsemanship, Leadership,& Life! What’s not to love about Greg!! We are so lucky to be able to host such a wonderful horseman at our farm!! 🙂
Whether you are an experienced equestrian looking to bring your horse to a more advanced level, or less experienced and looking to feel more confident with your horse day-to-day! Greg’s tailored approach and master communication skills will help you work through challenges to reach those goals.
AM Class 9:00am – Noon
Horsemanship 1
Excellent for someone new to working with Greg, young horses, or green horses.
Immersion and Refinement Classes will give you and your horse the opportunity to learn together with Greg. You’ll be working toward developing an understanding of how your horse learns, as well as acquiring the tools to build a solid foundation from feel. This is the beginning of a new relationship together.
Phase One: In Immersion the foundation in groundwork will help to build a secure, confident, relaxed, and supple horse. Followed by applying the groundwork to the saddle, the rider will now begin to reap the benefits from the new foundation, helping the horse to move away from the slightest amount of feel. You will learn how to meet the horse’s needs and to speak to the horses in their language, the horse and rider have a much greater potential of reaching goals for any discipline in harmony.
Phase Two: The refinement phase we will start to focus more on the individual discipline and goals of each horse and rider combination
PM Class 1:30pm-4:30pm

Kings Mountain, NC Obstacle Play Day @ Judi Vogt’s Home
May 11 @ 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Obstacle Play Day at Judi Vogt’s farm located at 105 Tibor Drive, Kings Mountain, NC. Drive all the way to the end of the black top road. You will go through an open iron gate and see the arena, barn and parking on your left.

This event is from 11:00 – 2:00 and is no charge but donations are appreciated for our charity for 2024.

Obstacle play days are a great time to expose your horse and maybe you, to things you’ve not experienced. You will go at your own pace and ask for help from your peers at anytime. We are all happy to help!

We have had a great turnout in the past for play days, so to ensure we have enough parking for everyone, try to carpool if possible. Also, RSVP on the event, as we will keep a list of attendees and may have to limit our numbers.
