Time to start riding, cowgirls! We have a team for the 2024 Virtual Tevis Cup ! To get on the roster, we need your name, current 40SC member number and the bib number assigned to you through the sign up link below, in addition to the total mileage ridden. If you do not have a horse, you can also participate by walking/ running the 100 miles.
You can screen shot the app with your mileage, in addition to the sign up response with your bib number. There will be one roster for this event!

Mounted Shooting is the nation’s fastest growing equestrian sport. Competitors wearing two single-action 45 caliber guns race against the clock, navigating through a variety of course patterns while shooting at balloons.
Competitors dress up in “Golden Era” cowboy clothing.
Come join us for a great place to ride. The canyon offers trails for all levels. You will need to call and make your reservations…. There are hook ups, pens, nice public bath house, dump station, and places for primitive camping…
Come join us as we assist Rutledge clients enjoy the benefits of equine therapy. We will not be riding, but will be assisting young adults who are undergoing cancer treatments. Whether riding the trails or grooming horses, we need cowgirls there to help.
Patients will book through Rutledge at the direction of their medical advisers.

Excited to announce the 6th annual Artisan Weekend at Wavra Farms.
Join us for live music by the Feel Good Ya ya’s Thursday and Friday night. Music by Steve Hale Saturday.
Food trucks and Snow Peak Brewing. This year they have 30 local artists joining them.
The event will be in their large greenhouse where they hosted the Winter Market.
Some of the artists are painters, sculptors, woodworkers, knife makers, glass blowers, jewelers, and more.
Kick summer off with an evening of rodeo action. From the classic event of bareback riding, saddle bronc, the fan favorite of bull riding, the pretty gals and fast horses of barrel racing and all the timed events as well.
Gates open at 6pm and rodeo action kicks off at 7pm.
Come out and enjoy watching some amazing people from the Rustic Farm group put on a de-spook clinic. All spaces for the actual clinic are taken, but it will be a fun time to watch. All Cowgirls are welcomed and needed to be on the ground to help where needed. Cowgirl gear please. BYOB, a snack, and a lawn chair if wanted.
We ride out at 10:00 AM There is water for the horses and there is a restroom. Nowhere to swim on this ride.
We are having a Botox party! Snacks provided, but BYOB. Botox price depend on what you want done. You can come and talk to Dr. Smith and Shasta and decide. Bring your checkbook!

Let’s ride…. Time to celebrate the 90th year Cowboy Rodeo and Reunion with a fun parade. We will meet at the parking lot on East 11th place and Johnson st. We will stage at 9am at the corner of 10th and Main. Parade is to start at 10am. Full parade gear, straw hats, pinks long sleeve button downs, polo wraps… Nice jeans please. We will have a truck to decorate, and for anyone to ride in who would like to. All Cowgirls welcome…
This is an event sponsored by Territorial Riders Oregon City Chapter of Backcountry Horsemen of Oregon.
Bring your digital camera or smart phone and find BIG FOOT!! Compete as an individual or teams of 2-3.
Riders out 9am-11am. The ride route is 2-2 1/2 hrs long. Finish by 2pm. Intervals are intended to control congestion on the trail and prevent a disclosure of a “Big Foot” find. You are in competition with those in front and behind you. There are 3 ways to win. You will be given a raffle ticket at registration AND you will receive one Poker Chip Draw Card included with your registration. You may purchase up to 3 more hands for $5 each.
Riders must return no later than 2pm to turn in their results. Prizes are awarded after 2pm.
Shoes are recommended for horses. Children are encouraged to wear helmets and dogs must be on a leash. (one player per horse).
For lunch, enjoy Brats and Sauerkraut, baked beans, potato and other side salads along with the necessary condiments. Ice water and pink lemonade are provided as well.
Entry Fee: $40 per rider; children 12 and under $20. Cash or Check. Extra Poker Chip hands (maximum 3 extra) $5 each.
Prizes are awarded to individuals or teams with the most points in the hunt, for First, Second, and Third place. Judges decisions are final. There will also be poker chip draws for other wonderful prizes as well as raffle ticket prizes for the 3rd chance drawing if you dont win in the first 2 categories, you may still win a prize.

Come join us as we paint wine glasses! Wendy’s Mobile Painting provides everything for your $35! Bring light snacks and BYOB. We start painting at 6 so come a few minutes early if you can!

Key Sheep Springs Horse Camp Regulations
- Bring only weed-free certified hay. (No local forage available.)
- Horses must be kept in stalls provided, and may not be tethered or picketed outside of stalls.
- Quiet Hours extend from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Prevent the spread of invasive pests by obtaining firewood locally.
- Fires are only permitted in designated fire receptacles and must be attended. Fires must be extinguished upon departure.
- Pets must be kept on leash and attended at all times.
- Secure food and scented items from bears.
Come on out for the 24th Annual Oregon Equestrian Trails Mid-Valley Chapter Poker Ride.
Directions: North on 9th St, go 1 mile, Left on Heritage Hills Rd, then follow the signs to TE Ranch.
$10 per hand or 3 hand for $20 (minimum one hand per rider)

Hello yall, On July 6th, 2024, the Banales family is having their annual memorial trail ride in Springtown, TX. All are welcome. The ride is approximately 7 miles long and starts at 10:00 am from the front gate of The trail ride travels down Chaparral Ln. Right turn onto J.E.. Woody to right on Prather. Right turn on to Goshon Rd. Right on Fletcher on to private property to the back gate of 199 W. Jake St.(or where199 W. Jake Street in Springtown, TX. the starting point was.) A live band will travel with us on the trail ride. Party with a live band after the trail ride. This event is growing bigger better each year. Bring you horse or riding club and come join us. Come out and support all the contestants vying for a national title at the super bowl of High School rodeo. Contestants will be from across the United States, 5 Canadian Provinces, Australia, Mexico, & New Zealand. The rodeo will showcase rodeo athletes as they compete for national titles as well as scholarship over $375,00.
Along with the rodeo action there will be a trade show and food vendors.
Come join our chapter at the amazing Gillespie Ranch in New Mexico. This is a true working cattle ranch sitting on 30,000 acres in the Lincoln Nation Forrest. There are limited spots available, so make reservations as soon as possible. Full hook ups with covered stalls. Yes, it’s in July, but bring a sweater or hoodie, you are in some higher elevations… Trails for all levels of riders…. All Cowgirls are welcome…
