Parade starts at 6:30pm. Judging starts at 6:00 so please give yourself enough time to make lineup. Parade attire, leather western tack and coggins required please.

This is a great place to start getting into competing/showing and meeting people in the area. They have several different classes and divisions, so you can compete at your level.
Ranch Rail, Trail, Pleasure, Riding, Reining and Cow Work classes

De-spook clinics coming in May!! Taught by mounted patrol instructors. Covered arena, limited to 15 participants. Just a few spots left. Text your email address to 254-979-7433 to receive your registration packet. Stalls and limited hookups available.

This is a trail challenge that will take approximately 2 1/2 hours with 10 to 15 mostly natural obstacles. Entry fee for judging and prizes is $50 each day, $30 to just do the ride. For further info and sign up information see Rockin’ RJ Facebook page

Now that we have gotten some obstacle practice in, let’s see our improvements. This will be a patterned jackpot for time. 3D format, paying 2 places in each division, 75% payout.
Time to get together, eat some yummy food and talk about what our chapter is doing! El Cerrito is a favorite for many! whether you are a new member, belong to another chapter or interested in joining we would love to see you! Will have a raffle item, bring some cash.
Join us around the fire pit at Laura’s! We will snack, have drinks and catch up. Please bring a snack to share and BYOB.
Friday night practice to prepare for the buckle event on Saturday. You do not have to participate in the event to come and practice with us! $35 and no membership required to participate.
Roping, Penning and Classic (Trail) classes

PCSP annual cattle drive from Millsap to the PCSP grounds. Further details on their website. RSVP so we can coordinate transportation. We will need trailers at both the starting points and the end. If we know who is coming we can coordinate it all!
There is a catered lunch at the possee grounds after the drive.
Come and join us in celebrating the start of the rodeo! This parade is always a good one with lots of community excitement. This parade will start at the 9th grade center, head north on Main St, go around the court house and the take us south on Waco St to return to the center.
Time to get together and support a local rodeo!
