Time to start riding, cowgirls! We have a team for the 2024 Virtual Tevis Cup ! To get on the roster, we need your name, current 40SC member number and the bib number assigned to you through the sign up link below, in addition to the total mileage ridden. If you do not have a horse, you can also participate by walking/ running the 100 miles.
You can screen shot the app with your mileage, in addition to the sign up response with your bib number. There will be one roster for this event!

Defensive Pistol 1 is the class to get you started in concealed carry
Working from the holster, we go thru presentation, sight picture, trigger press, and stance. The same as Basic Pistol, except now we are learning the difference between cover and concealment, different types of reloads, malfunction clearance, and shooting while moving, Class requires pistol, 2 Magazines at least, holster, magazine pouch, ear and eye protection, 250 rounds, snacks, and drinks. A camp chair is not a bad idea either.

Come join us as we assist Rutledge clients enjoy the benefits of equine therapy. We will not be riding, but will be assisting young adults who are undergoing cancer treatments. Whether riding the trails or grooming horses, we need cowgirls there to help.

Patients will book through Rutledge at the direction of their medical advisers.

Friday night practice to prepare for the buckle event on Saturday. You do not have to participate in the event to come and practice with us! $35 and no membership required to participate.

PCSP annual cattle drive from Millsap to the PCSP grounds. Further details on their website. RSVP so we can coordinate transportation. We will need trailers at both the starting points and the end. If we know who is coming we can coordinate it all!

There is a catered lunch at the possee grounds after the drive.

Come and join us in celebrating the start of the rodeo! This parade is always a good one with lots of community excitement. This parade will start at the 9th grade center, head north on Main St, go around the court house and the take us south on Waco St to return to the center.

Hello yall, On July 6th, 2024, the Banales family is having their annual memorial trail ride in Springtown, TX. All are welcome. The ride is approximately 7 miles long and starts at 10:00 am from the front gate of The trail ride travels down Chaparral Ln. Right turn onto J.E.. Woody to right on Prather. Right turn on to Goshon Rd. Right on Fletcher on to private property to the back gate of 199 W. Jake St.(or where199 W. Jake Street in Springtown, TX. the starting point was.) A live band will travel with us on the trail ride. Party with a live band after the trail ride. This event is growing bigger better each year. Bring you horse or riding club and come join us. International Day celebrates the diverse heritage of Rock Springs each July. Known as the “Home of 56 Nationalities,” different cultures are celebrated all day through food, exhibits, costumes and live entertainment. It is the only ethnic festival of its kind in Wyoming, so you won’t want to miss it! This year’s annual festival features a wide range of local, regional, and international entertainment, activities for kids, exotic foods and unique vendor items. Performers from various parts of the world provide a smorgasbord of music and dance entertainment throughout the day. Food, drinks, music, arts, crafts and more all with free admission! We are headed on vacation with our horses. Trail rides all weekend! There are hook ups for LQ trailers and room in the house if you don’t have a trailer to sleep in! Space is limited, so let us know if want in!

Cowhand challenge!(sorting, penning, etc). All proceeds go to Rutledge Cancer Foundation! We will have a chuck wagon lunch available for purchase . This event is a benefit. Cowgirls only will have buckles to the winning team. The open division will have a payout. 4 man teams. Pre registration is encouraged and there will be a $50. you must have a physical copy of both your coggins and a health certificate to get your horse on the FWSSR grounds. No exceptions. They will not accept a coggins from your phone.
