Come join us as we assist Rutledge clients enjoy the benefits of equine therapy. We will not be riding, but will be assisting young adults who are undergoing cancer treatments. Whether riding the trails or grooming horses, we need cowgirls there to help.

Patients will book through Rutledge at the direction of their medical advisers.

The YWCA Victims Advocacy Center is hosting their 1st Annual Heroes and Heels event in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month. The event will take place on September 28th at Bunning Hall Freight Station from 6pm-10pm and will feature local heroes.

LBJ Grasslands ride.  Approx 9 miles.   Some of the girls may go ride Saturday and spend the night.  You will have to coordinate Saturday on GroupMe.  Sunday’s ride out time is 10:00.  The difficulty level is a 2.5.  Kristin Jaffe will be trail guide Sunday.  She knows LBJ very well.   Her contact info is here.

C Bar Ranch is one of our favorite places to go! Join us as we kick off the winter series of Wild West Outlaws Gymkhanas, on October 26, 2024 in the indoor arena at Sweetwater Events Complex. Entry fees are $10 per event. Great way to keep your horses in shape thru the winter months. Same as last year, earn points for end of season awards. Call Susan Nichols for more information.

The public is invited to come play on the posse’s trail course with prizes for the best costume (awarded at NOON).

Divisions:  12 and under, 1-17, and 18+    Top costume in each division wins $50!

Register at the clubhouse as you enter the property and signn a waiver before unloading your horse.  Potable water and restrooms are available, but bring your own chair and food.
