Come join us as we assist Rutledge clients enjoy the benefits of equine therapy. We will not be riding, but will be assisting young adults who are undergoing cancer treatments. Whether riding the trails or grooming horses, we need cowgirls there to help.

Patients will book through Rutledge at the direction of their medical advisers.

Come out to the Fairgrounds and do some shopping with some great vendors. It’s a Great time to start Christmas shopping!!!

LBJ Grasslands ride.  Approx 9 miles.   Some of the girls may go ride Saturday and spend the night.  You will have to coordinate Saturday on GroupMe.  Sunday’s ride out time is 10:00.  The difficulty level is a 2.5.  Kristin Jaffe will be trail guide Sunday.  She knows LBJ very well.   Her contact info is here.

Be sure to show a negative coggins and pay the $5 fee at the station.
Once you have your pass, you will U-turn back out to the highway and turn left. The lake entrance is on the right side 1 mile up the highway.

Our 40 Something Cowgirls are heading out to Nitro Sporthorses to play Aliens and Astronauts with Big Country Equestrian Club in their Fall Show!

Our table will have 16 seats. Each of us will pre-pay our chapter Treasurer, Babe Chambers, to secure your spot.

C Bar Ranch is one of our favorite places to go! This is a weekend trip but you can come for a day or stay for the weekend.  You must call Ms Martha to make reservations for a campsite. 254-749-6962 [email protected].  Difficulty level is between a 2 & a 3.  There are lots of trails.  Should make for a very fun weekend.

Primitive camping only. You may bring a generator and panels. Lori will assign meal items to bring for supper on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.

Cowhand challenge!(sorting, penning, etc). All proceeds go to Rutledge Cancer Foundation! We will have a chuck wagon lunch available for purchase . This event is a benefit. We love the stock show and Rodeo, we practically live there! If you go, take a selfie and we will add you to the roster. Specifically, we will do the following events:

Grand Entry 1/Rutledge at 11 am performance arrive by 9:00 with long sleeve white shirt, black vest.

you must have a physical copy of both your coggins and a health certificate to get your horse on the FWSSR grounds. No exceptions. They will not accept a coggins from your phone.
