We usually do a potluck after our day rides with some crazy cowgirls and some great cooks
Meet at New Ingles Parking lot, then caravan over to Cataloochee Valley. Meet at Cataloochee Parking area by 10am . recommend shoes or boots for trails, some are rocky, believe there are water crossings. Vickie is going to show us the trails. Bring water, snacks, and lunch. I do not know length of trails.

Slip those boots on after church and join us for a ride around Lake Abilene!
Be sure to show a negative coggins and pay the $5 fee at the station.
Once you have your pass, you will U-turn back out to the highway and turn left. The lake entrance is on the right side 1 mile up the highway.

Join us for our October Cowgirl Roundup! Bring your own dinner. We will grab a picnic table and go over upcoming events, schedule our monthly trail ride, game night, lunches and such.

11 o’clock tour and tasting as well as shopping and wandering
2 o’clock lunch in Dundee
The fall market at Margie‘s is a fun today event featuring over 50 vendors of antiques vintage repurposed and Handcrafted. We also have fall fest type activities to entertain the whole family. Food drinks, shopping, and fun all in one place

Friday 6pm – meet and greet at the Pavilion
Saturday 10 am – ride out, option to do a short 2-1/2 hr ride or longer 4-1/2 ride (pack a lunch!) raffle at 3:30pm (must be present) 6pm catered meal
Sunday 10 am – ride on your own
Meet at Towstring horse parking area at 9:30 – There are several options to ride long and short rides. Recommend shoes or boots. There are numerous watering holes and crossings. Bring snacks, lunch, and a lot of water. Riders can go up to Steel Bridge/Cabin Flats and back, or others can go up to Grassy Flats or higher up to Charlie Bunion or wherever they want to stop and return down the mountain.

Old Sorehead Trade Days is upon us! The streets of downtown Stanton, TX will be open to foot traffic only. Come out and enjoy live music, entertainment, arts and crafts, antiques, historical tours, trading lot, and delicious food.
Tsali Recreational Arena – Trail Ride Left Loops. Remember you have to pay for daily parking online or in an envelope at the Kiosk. Bring plenty of snacks and water for a full day of fun and riding. Meet at large parking area at boat ramp. You can bring trail dogs to Tsali
Join our Cowgirls for a great cause! Hendricks’ Bunco for Breast Cancer is a long time tradition here in Abilene. This year’s theme is the Roaring 20’s!!! Get your flapper dresses ladies!
Our table will have 16 seats. Each of us will pre-pay our chapter Treasurer, Babe Chambers, to secure your spot.
* Registration fee is $35/person paid to Babe Chambers. 16 spots at our table.
Halloween Trail Obstacle Play Day – Ridets and horses are encouraged to dress up in costumes and compete in a costume contest, practice & compete on my mountain trail obstacle course. Teams will have to participate in maneuvering through the obstacles cool, calm & collected.
$10 donation to participate and money goes into our cowgirls fund
Meet at Whetstone parking area at 10:00, we’ll saddle up ride out to Adeline and possibly cross river if super low, if not we’ll make loop and go out through Spring house, climb the ridge and head back to parking area. 5 to 6 hr ride so bring food, lunch, snacks, and a lot of water. Trails are easy to moderate in difficulty.

The annual community tack sale returns
They’re about 20 visitors already coming with a large variety of items. It should be a good one. Don’t miss out if you’re interested in getting a table the cost is $10 and you will need to contact Jay Fisher on private messenger

Come on out for a weekend of celebrating Jesus! Plus, horseback (trail riding and obstacle course), some fellowship, testimonials and a devotional on Sunday.
Please bring proof of a negative Coggins prior to off-loading horse on ranch property. Check in will be @ 2pm on Saturday 26 Oct 2024, check out will be @ 2pm on Sunday 27 Oct 2024. Primitive camping only. You may bring a generator and panels. Lori will assign meal items to bring for supper on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.
Need/Want a stall for your horse? Please contact Terrie Eldred@ 325-636-7974. Stalls are self-clean and cost is $10. Please let Terrie know if you are bringing a very tall and/or large RV/LQ trailer.
