Caramel Corn

Tootie Martin, Scio, OR

In a sauce pan, add 1/4 cup butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup lite corn syrup , bring to a boil over
R medium heat stirring constantly, stir in 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk until it reaches the soft ball stage or 234 degrees. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla, mix well, pour over 5 Quarts popped corn. Mix well , you can eat it just like that or makeballs. I like to put crushed peanuts or Walnuts in mine.
